A man wanted in connection with the sexual assault of a child in Canada more than 30 years ago was arrested in Santa Cruz, according to ICE San Francisco.
Charles Peter Billone, 64, was found hiding in Santa Cruz after decades on the run from Canadian law enforcement. He has been wanted since 1991 for allegedly sexually assaulting a child.
According to ICE San Francisco, Billone also has previous convictions for possession of stolen property, assault and drug-related offenses.
He is currently in ICE custody pending removal.
Articles published by Canadian news outlets in 2014 reported that Billone had been evading capture by changing his identity.
According to CBC News, he was wanted on two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference. He was arrested in 1991 but failed to appear in court after being released.
“And now Charles Billone no longer exists,” Det. Paul Henderson of the Hamilton Police Service’s fugitive apprehension unit told CBC News. “We can’t find him through any traditional means.”

An example of sexual interference is when an adult or a person over the age limit intentionally touches, directly or indirectly, any part of a person under the age of 16 for a sexual purpose. Under legal definitions like Section 151 of the Criminal Code of Canada, consent cannot be given by a minor under 16.
Can’t the governor of California, the Clintons (assuming they are still alive) or the Globohomo lobby help this poor man?
