Moroccan migrants planning new rush on Spanish border
The Telegraph ^ | August 6, 2026 | Graham Keeley

Migrants are using social media to plan another mass border crossing into Ceuta.

At least four WhatsApp groups, 10 Facebook groups and more than 50 Instagram accounts have been used to discuss plans to cross from Morocco to the Spanish exclave on Aug 15, according to analysis by Maldita.es, a fact-checking non-profit group.

There was a mass influx into Ceuta last week, when at least 70,000 people swam and charged through the border, prompting a diplomatic row over Spain's handling of the migration crisis.

The crossing left at least 77 people dead, with migrants drowning as they tried to swim around a barrier in the Mediterranean.

One message, which includes the Spanish flag, said: "Everything will be clear that day and we will get there."

Migrants are urged to rally in Castillejos, which Moroccans call Fnideq, near the Ceuta border.

The messages show detailed maps, instructions and advice on what to wear and where in Morocco to set off from. Most of the messages were written in Arabic but a few were in French, suggesting they might be directed at sub-Saharan Africans.

If Spain and Portugal do not totally block their respective borders they will be history and lose their beautiful cultures.

I wonder what would happen if 10’s of thousands of Gazans were openly coordinating an invasion of Israel on Facebook? Do you think Facebook would allow them to do that?

Just a random thought here, but couldn’t Spain cede Cueta back to Morocco. Then the migrants will be their problem and not Spain. I never heard of this place until last week. Is there an economic or defensive reason to keep this small bit of land. If Spain wants to keep a foothold then set up a Gitmo type of possession.

They will also lose their open border access to the rest of Europe.

The Schengen treaty will end.

Folks, Morocco might not be a rich country, but the people are NOT starving, nor are its citizens in any danger of war or genocide.

There is absolutely no reason for this mass invasion other than TERRITORIAL OCCUPATION.

There is a method to this madness and it is being encouraged by the Moroccan government.

“Shoot the bastards dead.”

It’s getting to that point... maybe even past.

As a wise man once said, “You only own that which you are willing and able to defend using whatever means at your disposal!”

Exactly like Biden’s border invasion, this is planned among deep-state parts of government, marxists and globalist “insiders” - using controlled social-media networks and NGOs to organize and provide funding.

All for purposeful demoralization and destabilization.

There’s nothing “organic” about it.

Both, but start with the facilitators.

Ceding Ceuta (and its sister city, Melilla) to Morocco might sound like a simple fix to border security headaches, but politically, legally, and strategically, it is virtually impossible for Spain to consider.

Ceuta is not a colonial holding or an overseas territory—it is an integral part of Spain with a population of over 80,000 full Spanish and European Union citizens.

Handing over 85,000 Spanish citizens to a foreign monarchy would violate the Spanish Constitution and trigger immediate political collapse for whichever government proposed it.

Ceuta also has STRATEGIC and DEFENSIVE value.

Ceuta’s value lies almost entirely in its location along the Strait of Gibraltar—one of the world’s primary maritime choke points.

Controlling both sides of the entrance to the Mediterranean (alongside naval facilities in southern Spain) gives Madrid and NATO crucial monitoring capacity over naval traffic, submarine movements, and commercial shipping between the Atlantic and Mediterranean.

The city hosts active military installations, including units of the Spanish Legion and regular garrison forces, serving as a forward base directly on the North African coast.

You don’t want a Muslim government in control of these choke points.

Giving Ceuta to Morocco would simply shift the migration pressure point.

Instead of attempting to jump the border fences into Ceuta, migrants would redirect directly to sea routes targeting the Canary Islands or the southern coast of mainland Spain (Andalusia). Morocco already uses border enforcement as diplomatic leverage against Spain and the EU. Once the Camel’s nose enters the tent… you know the fable, right?

As for following the Gitmo model….

A leased military base (like Guantanamo Bay) exists on land recognized as foreign territory under a lease agreement. Because Ceuta is fully incorporated Spanish sovereign territory inhabited by permanent civilian citizens, converting it into an enclave base would require stripping 85,000 people of their constitutional rights and citizenship.

Ceuta and Mellila have been part of Spain for 700 years; their people are Spanish citizens and vote multiple conservative representatives into the Spanish Parliament. Now, if you are talking coastal California, Martha’s Vineyard, Manhattan, Portland and a few other places, it would be a separate story as long as the rural parts of these states remain with the union.

Ceding territory your country has held for 600 years to muslim crazies is generally not a good idea.
