Former Republican Majorie Taylor Greene posted a photo this weekend of herself, Tucker Carlson and Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., along with the statement that "the movement has come."
Last month, Carlson said he was planning to create a new political party, the Columbia Journalism Review reported.
Greene's photo, posted on X on Saturday, featured the three, who have been sidelined over their opposition to President Trump's agenda and suggests discussions on a third party are continuing.
"We said no more foreign wars and we meant it and supported Donald Trump because he made that promise. But he’s betrayed us all. Our commitment is America First for all Americans, right, left, and center," Greene stated in the post.
Taylor did not seek reelection this year after Trump pulled his endorsement, and Massie lost his primary reelection bid to a Trump-backed candidate. Carlson, a conservative pundit and former Fox News Channel opinion-show host, fell out of favor with Trump in large part over his opposition to the Iran war.
"He's not MAGA," the president has said.

I’m adjacent to MTG’s old district.
The MAGA team that took over the county GOP from the GOPEs 3-1/2 years ago were fans of MTG.
WERE is the key word in that sentence.
My take is that the MAGA leadership in our county is done with her, thinks she’s lost it. We’re getting on with business, not looking back in her direction, don’t understand why she resigned like she did.
I think threads about this new movement shouldn’t be made before they reach 1% in polls.

It will go nowhere. We don’t have a parliamentary system where multiple parties can survive. In our system third parties are for introducing “ideas”, not always good “ideas” (Can anyone say Prohibition?)into the mainstream parties. Also good for tipping close elections usually in bad ways.

The Democratic Socialists despite their crazy ideas have one smart thing going for them, they are in the process of taking over the Democratic Party instead of trying to start a new party.
A new national political party is basically impossible, one thing Democrats and Republicans have 100% in agreement on is the desire to crush any movement over starting a new party.
MTG and the rest of these rebels would be best served by trying to take over the Republican Party instead of starting a new party.
Think about what Trump did back in 2016, he took over the Republican Party instead of starting a new party and won the Presidency proving it can be done, it’s been 100 Years and no new national party has successfully been formed.
