Wisconsin Democratic gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong hosted left-wing commentator Hasan Piker at a campaign rally in Milwaukee on Sunday alongside Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN).
The current front-runner for the Democratic gubernatorial nomination, Hong has leaned into populist messaging about the cost of living throughout her campaign and is backed by the Democratic Socialists of America. Hong strengthened her ties with the Democratic Party’s ascendant socialist wing by inviting Piker, an internet personality known for promoting an anti-Israel and anti-establishment platform, to speak at the event.
Some attendees rose to deliver a standing ovation for Piker, who spoke about how Wisconsin served as the home of the American socialist movement long before modern figures popularized it, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The crowd at the South Milwaukee High School gymnasium skewed young, according to the outlet, and Piker livestreamed and posted about the rally throughout the day on social media.
“Not only are we going to run up the numbers for Francesca Hong on Aug. 11, but we are going to take that victory to the general election to make sure that the Republican Tom Tiffany never gets a seat of power ever again!” Piker said at the rally. “It seems like Wisconsin is making its choice. And it’s not me, it’s all of us.”
Hong’s main Democratic opponent, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, has criticized Hong for associating with Piker, while Republican gubernatorial candidate Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) said Hong’s decision to campaign with Piker “is certainly a choice.”
When asked by a reporter if it’s a risk to campaign with such a controversial figure, Hong said “it would be a risk not to try to build the broadest coalition possible.”

I know some are happy because they think she will be easy to defeat. But if November is a disaster (as 2022 was) then we will be stuck with a horrid nutcase who is 10x worse than the current one. Not good.

The Founders built a powerful dam in the form of our Constitutional Republic, to hold back the waters of tyranny, feudalism, totalitarianism, mob rule (a.k.a. pure democracy). It has held for a few centuries, and served as a model for many other countries.
But the past few decades have seen cracks develop in that dam as nefarious forces both internal and external have attacked it.
And like any dam, once serious cracks develop, it's only a matter of time before it begins to crumble... and eventually fall.
We are at that time. The enemy is inside the gates. I believe we have only a few election cycles left, to purge the poison that has infected American politics and society.

Madison and Milwaukee pretty much run Wisconsin the way Chicago rules the rest of Illinois. In their debate she denied everything she previously said. Remember Abigail Spanberger pretended to be a moderate until the minute she took office. Then the mask came off and she’s acted like a tyrant. Hong would be no different.

The out of state monies will flow in like never before for the disturbed dem candidate. They will likely out spend Tiffany two to one.
Deep down it’s still my belief hong is not electable statewide. And the fracture in the traditional democratic party of Wisconsin has been left in disarray.
Most don’t know who Piker is. He is not just a “left wing commentator”. The guy is a vile Jew hating terrorist sympathizer who cheered when they killed Charlie.
