Democrats Are In Shambles As Fund Raising Slows To A Halt
YouTube ^ | 07/29/2026 | Doc Rich

Posted on 08/02/2026 5:39:57 AM PDT by SmokingJoe

This video, presented by *Doc Rich*, argues that the *Democratic Party* is in a state of financial and political "shambles" leading into the upcoming midterms. The creator cites several factors, including poor fundraising numbers, internal conflict, and low voter favorability.

**Key highlights from the video include:**

* **Financial Difficulties:** The video reports that the *DNC* is struggling with debt and has low cash reserves compared to the *RNC*. It highlights a *New York Times* report noting that the *Democratic Party* has even asked vendors to delay billing until after the midterm elections (1:24 - 2:06). Additionally, the *DNC* reportedly used its headquarters as collateral for a $15 million line of credit (2:09 - 2:17).

* **Internal Struggles:** The video discusses friction within the party, including an alleged interaction between *Hakeem Jeffries* and *Bernie Sanders* regarding endorsements (0:33 - 0:46), as well as a reported outburst by *DNC Chair Ken Martin* (2:23 - 2:56).

* **Low Approval Ratings:** The creator highlights data suggesting the *Democratic Party's* brand is suffering, with low favorability ratings (7:37 - 8:02) and a majority of voters viewing the party as "too liberal" (8:29 - 8:52).

* **Midterm Outlook:** The video analyzes the competitive landscape for the *House* and *Senate*, arguing that *Republicans* are gaining ground due to redistricting and the current political climate, making it difficult for *Democrats* to retain control (11:28 - 14:48).

Ultimately, the creator posits that the combination of financial constraints, negative public perception, and economic concerns (like cost of living) puts the *Democrats* at a significant disadvantage for the upcoming elections (16:07 - 17:03).

Hard to believe. They have plenty of money. Sounds like they pick losers to run.

Can they be kicked out of the country if the rent isn’t paid?

Since half the money the dnc gets is from Jewish Americans it was probably a bad idea to run anti semitic candidates. I think they could get away with candidates who are simply indifferent toward Israel but outwardly hostile wasn’t going to fly with a lot of peoples

Totally explains why they flipped completely when President Trump shut down USAID. And now all of a sudden democrats are broke.....what a coincidence.

But the dark money from the underground wellspring still flows. If the sources of these funds is fully scrutinized and identified, much of it originates OUTSIDE the United States, and in the normal course of affairs, would be prohibited by the laws under which the Federal Elections Commission operates. But this activity is also protected by refusal by operatives within the FEC to follow the directives and obligations contained in those laws.

So the Democrat Socialists have more than enough resources to make good on their threat to swamp the guarantees and standards of the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution, and the legal system derived from those documents.

I don’t know, it seems Jews are dedicated to voting Dem, no matter what. I don’t understand it, but I observe it.

As for the DNC’s financial problems, I wonder how the DSA is doing for funding? Individual candidates seem to be ok financially, Sharrod Brown is filling the air waves with ads. The DNC just isn’t communist enough for donors. The Dems get lots of “dark money” and foreign contributions. Might be a little early to bury the commie’s chances.

I hate to be the pessimist.

Yet we drove in a car from Louisville Ky to Mirimar Beach Fl on vacation (July 13-18). I saw maybe 1/2 dozen Trump/ Maga signs the entire way. We went to the same place 2x years ago and I couldn’t even tell you how many car stickers etc like that (not counting campaign signs).

Our route was mostly through red state area (S Indiana-Ky-Tenn-Alabama-Fl panhandle)

I’m very uneasy with this upcoming mid-terms possible results.

“...President Trump shut down USAID”

Exactly! Have seen snippets here or there but no reporting from the MSM as usual, it appears the individual rat politicians have all kinds of cash themselves but the kickback cash to the DNS apparatus has all but disappeared.

When the DNC has to mortgage their own building for a little cash to keep going and the MSM buries the story tells you everything.

Hope this is also a slap across the face to the Uniparty/RINOs too as they can’t bury themselves anymore with our laundered tax dollars anymore as the left goes more to commiedom.

Maybe they should not have said they want to acquire the means of production? Capitalists only want the virtue points, they don’t really want communism.

I’d like to see a movement tying local demorat donors to the crazy socialist/communist proclamations their national candidates have made. I can tell you that our local director of the Symphony, Ballet, Art Museum etc. are all demorat contributors. and the antisemitic, anti American epithets would not go over well with the constituents of those entities.

“Hard to believe. They have plenty of money.”

Exactly. These “whistling past the graveyard” stories are just that. Democrat candidates in EVERY Senate and critical House election have tons of money. Yet we are to believe they are all starving for cash and standing on a street corner somewhere with a tin cup in their hands, begging for spare change.

Also: the little tidbit about “Democrat party very unpopular in polls” is accurate. The fact that the Republican party is even MORE unpopular seems to have been omitted, however.

It would take quite a bit of mental gymnastics to assert that one set of polls is correct while the other set is totally false. But some people are desperately “flexible” when it comes to this stuff.

Regardless of whether party favorability is being measured, or voting intentions in November, they all show the same thing and the only difference is the degree to which Republicans come out second-best.

Perhaps (1) ending a vastly unpopular war and (2) passing a vastly popular SAVE act would get things turned around (the question is, would it be enough at this point)?

But the status of point #1 fluctuates daily and nothing really changes; and point #2 is dead.

“...maybe 1/2 dozen Trump/ Maga signs the entire way.”

I live in a deep red area so lefty signs are never around anyway so have nothing to measure, however I’ve also seen a huge downturn of any campaign signs from dog catcher up to governor. Pretty sure the fires, murders, shootings, and countless other violent acts the last couple of years from the left has soured the average person from putting out any politician’s name from bumper stickers up to giant banners.

Nobody wants their tires slashed to their house being burned from the left’s violence, wouldn’t worry much. However the GOPe hasn’t done a danged thing in years except pile on debt so if GOPe loses it’s for lack of turnout.

Good to see some of the RINOs get turned out lately, beautiful!

While many folks here love the war it is not playing so well in the heartland.

Republicans were promised and expected a quick and decisive elimination of the Iranian regime.

That failed—and since then all we have gotten is an army of spinners and “experts” trying to put earrings on a foreign policy pig.

Good luck with that.

Socialism will come to the rescue.

Everything should be free, and so should be campaigning for office. Politics should be just as free as buses and subways and food and medicines and medical care.

But, where is Soros and his billions? Where are the socialist billionaires? Where is BLM with their ill-gotten millions?

It’s a shame too. There could have been a quick and decisive victory but Trump opted for a measured and nuanced part 2. He had reasons but it could cost us both Houses
