The Peace Council on Friday published the full roadmap for ending the war in the Gaza Strip, outlining a phased process that includes Hamas’ disarmament, the transfer of civilian and security authority in Gaza to a new Palestinian governing body, an Israeli withdrawal, and a broader political process that could ultimately lead to the establishment of a Palestinian state.
The document, titled the "Roadmap of July 30, 2026", serves as the framework for continued implementation of US President Donald Trump’s Comprehensive Plan. According to the document, the roadmap is designed to transform the principles of the 20-point plan from a political declaration into an operational and verifiable process.
The opening section states that the purpose of the plan is not only to end the fighting, but also to "advance a credible political pathway leading to self-determination and statehood." The document later defines the final objective as "creating the conditions for a credible pathway to self-determination and a Palestinian state."
Under the arrangement, Hamas and other Palestinian factions would formally accept President Trump’s plan and UN Security Council Resolution 2803 (2025) as the guiding framework for the process. The framework includes full demilitarization, de-radicalization, and the transfer of all civilian and security responsibilities in Gaza to the "National Committee for the Administration of Gaza (NCAG)."
The roadmap states that Hamas and other armed factions will have no role in governance, whether civilian or military. Instead, all governing authority in Gaza will be transferred to the new Palestinian administration, described as a technocratic government responsible for managing Gaza.

A major key to all of this would be the leaders in the Arab world to finally say “There is not gonna be a Palestinian State. Historically, there never was one. We blew what little chance we had back in 1948. Collectively, we will not support, financially or economically, the idea of a Palestinian State”.
You do not negotiate with someone when the starting point is your death. That’s how it is with Hamas.

hamass will only agree to victory or martyrdom.

I only hope that this is another example of Trump’s reverse taqiyya. But hope is not a plan.
I think Trump is really convinced that he can create a new Monaco in the Gaza strip. He’s letting his developer fantasies carry him away. In fairness, he of all people has the right skill mix to know how to do something like that. But he’s going to run into the same problem as the Neocons with Iraq and Afghanistan. A population with a tribal mindset that is in no way compatible with creating a stable, modern state. Its like when the states built government housing for the poor in the US back in the 1960s. The buildings started off nice and turned to s___t because of how the residents treated them. Trump can lay out all kinds of development plans that show a sparkling new city. But it will be inhabited by tribes with blood feuds against each other and their neighbors.
‘Land for peace’ has never worked in the history of the world. As kids, we laughed about Wimpy asking for a hamburger today in exchange for a promise to pay for it next Tuesday. The cartoonist was teaching us a valuable lesson.
It will never happen. I wish that Trump’s negotiating team (including Vance), stick to Europe, where the understand a little better (but not much). Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran are licking their chops over it.
But what about Trump’s seaside resort to be built in Gaza?
The simplist plan is to kill Hamas....all of them.
There can never be a 2 state solution......even the Egyptians and the Jordanians do not want t9o give them land for their so called state.
There will be no such state. There never was a Palestinian state, until Arafat claimed there was one, made out of whole cloth.They were merely cannon fodder for the King of Jordan a generation ago when they tried to depose the then King of Jordan. Their camps in Jordan were shelled with large caliber artillery so they moved into the West Bank and Gaza.
That’s not a state. Who would ant to have a state full of terrorists next door? Jordan, Egypt, and Israel truly do not.It makes no sense.Only those nations who would not have to share a border with such a state want it.
