Seattle Storm co-owner Celeste Keaton has been fined and suspended from attending the team's next five home games, the WNBA confirmed to Fox News Digital.
The suspension and fine come after Keaton allegedly called a pair of teenage Sophie Cunningham fans "f---ing insane" during a game on Tuesday, independent Seattle-based journalist Brandi Kruse told Fox News Digital. Kruse was in the arena and accompanied the girls, who were there to watch Cunningham and the Indiana Fever take on the Storm.
Cunningham addressed the incident involving Keaton in an X repost of Fox News Digital's report late Wednesday night.

That's what Seattle Storm co-owner Celeste Keaton allegedly called two teenage Sophie Cunningham fans over their sign thanking the star player for protecting girls’ and women's sports.
Now the WNBA is suspending Keaton from the Storm's next five home games and fining her for her actions.
Cunningham spoke out about the incident and called Keaton's behavior “truly embarrassing” and applauded the teens for “standing up for what they believe.”
Keaton wasn't the only one who took issue with the supporters, Storm fans were caught on video harassing the two girls for their beliefs.

Never in my life have I seen an entertainment venue that is more hostile to its paying customers. You have a 77-year-old, wealthy team owner screaming at teenage girls to the point where they were on the verge of tears. And don’t forget the previous game where the team had a fan thrown out for making fun of Kahleah Copper when her weave came off in the middle of the game. And then we had Angel Reese and her teammates claiming that fans were shouting racist names at her at a game when the audio detected no such thing.
