Donald Trump is weighing up a massive expansion of the war with Iran after Tehran launched fresh strikes against US military sites across the Gulf, including Amazon services in Bahrain and vital power and water infrastructure in Kuwait.
Nearly 100 US service members have been injured in recent weeks, according to the Pentagon, as the latest round of fighting enters its tenth day. More specifically, and can’t remember the source, but had heard something about the bulk of the injured being in the same category: Having suffered concussions
TBEs are no joke and will probably result in ~100% disabilities benefits when the injured warriors leave the service. I hope the Administration does not keep letting Pakistan, Egypt and Oman ring the bell for Iran, prolonging the opportunities for irrelevant, death-throe, dead-ender attacks.
I think we give 24 hour warning and turn Tehran to glass.

We probably need boots on the ground in Bandar Abbas and the coast and islands of the Straits of Hormuz. Make a perimeter and then leave the rest of Iran to the people to either control or continue to accept IRGC control.
Go after missiles, launchers and drones as hard and as fast as we can. Remove the air threat. Take out every bridge.
As I understand it, some people have suggested that Trump take out the bridges, electricity and water in Iran and bring the whole country to its knees.
Oh no! Oh, No! No! No! No! Hitting the water supply??? That’s a WAR CRIME!! You simply cannot do that! The whole world will rise up and condemn you for such a barbarous action!
Meanwhile, in other news, Iran is attacking Kuwait’s water supply. Ya know ... it’s Trump’s fault, don’t ya think? Oh well. Ho hum. Tomorrow is another day.

I’m no legal expert, but I think that deliberate attacks on civilians (like destroying their water supply) is considered a war crime. I don’t know for sure. But I will say: I do not accept the concept of “war crime”. I think it’s a stupid phrase and a stupid concept. To me, once the war starts, you need to start killing people. Lots of people. For Iran? I’d try to kill a million of them before even attempting any negotiations. And if the negotiations didn’t go well? Well, they would regret that. I know that we can win if we try.
But my overall point was that as far as I can see, the world accepts any extreme measures that Muslims may take (ex. attacking Kuwait’s water) but the world will always be shocked at any action Trump might decide to take. I hate the double standard.
No, that isn’t necessary. When the British took control of the Middle East, they first took a few cities which were easy to defend with their Navy. Aden, Muscat, the Isle of Bahrain and Kuwait City, close to the mouth of the Shatt Al-Arab (Tigris/Euphrates).
From there, they could control the whole Gulf and not have to worry about numerically superior lunatic Muslim armies.
Of course, they didn’t have to contend with missiles and drones, but with drone combat future in every war, we need to get busy developing counter drone operations.

It may be easier for the people to root them out after a few big ones are dropped. We just warn them enough ahead of time. At the same time we hit a big place we also drop some on specific irgc bases/compounds as well.
