Truth Social to sell Wall Street firms the ‘fastest’ access to Trump’s posts
NBC News ^ | 07/16/2026

President Donald Trump’s posts on the platform regularly move markets. High-speed access to these could be very valuable to traders and investors.

Trump Media & Technology Group has unveiled a paid-for, licensed data feed that will give banks and trading firms “the fastest” access to posts from influential Truth Social ‌accounts, such as President Donald Trump’s, whose posts often move global markets.

The product, called ‘Truth API’, will deliver posts from the 10 most influential accounts to customers at a significantly faster pace than a regular push notification on the Truth Social platform, a spokesperson said.

“Markets already move on Truth Social posts ... As adoption grows, we expect ‌Truth API to become a meaningful, ongoing source of revenue for the company,” TMTG’s interim CEO Kevin McGurn said.

My ‘DJT’ stocks have dropped 31% since I bought them. Today is about $9.50. Long term investment and affordable.

My SpaceX (SPCX) shares are down about 26%. Trading today at around $125. Another long term investment.

I’m not confident in DJT, but SPCX is like buying IBM or Apple back in the 70s.

I’m not really smart, so don’t assume that I know anything other than gut feeling.

Nobody can or should defend this.

My entire life has been oriented around defending capitalism and the social advantages of free markets.

This is NOT that kind of thing.

I’ve never claimed to like DJT - he’s been lucky to just be better than the alternative the 3 times I voted for him.

But this kind of crap? He’s literally becoming everything I hate and have spent most of my life claiming the leftists would do.

This makes me want to vomit.

Oh, but they will.

The days of Hunter Biden selling his "paintings" for $500K to Dem donors seem old-fashioned and quaint by comparison

Trump and his boys make them all look like pikers.

Oh well, the Articles of Impeachment will no doubt be writing themselves soon enough

Sadly, yes. I know they will.

The modern world is a conscience crisis for those of us with actual principles - especially meaningful conservative principles.

The Rats aren’t an option - they’re embracing the socialists who actually just point-blank tell you who they are.

‘MAGA’ has become increasingly *real* socialism, with a heavy side of the corruption that socialism inevitably brings - just mouthing meaningless lip service about socialism/communism even while policy nakedly tracks to it.

There is no place for me anymore. Throw my vote away on libertarian candidates? Waste it on write-ins? Just skip it entirely?

Who cares. Doesn’t matter.

Should I hold my breath waiting for SEC enforcement actions?

“such as President Donald Trump’s, whose posts often move global markets…..”

Including no doubt markets that benefit his own financial interests.

Good question. Even if there is no legal violation the ethics of it sure are questionable.

Au Contraire. The Biden Crime Syndicate made millions off of deals with China, Burisma, and other Ukrainian individuals and entities.

Trump is brazenly promoting himself. Bidens were just as bad, but it appears their grift was out of the public eye.

With the exception of Hunter's paintings.

I don't know what Trump supporters call this, I call it "unseemly". He's more than making up for donating his salary.

This will sound weird - but it’s not even the double-dealing and corruption that bothers me. That’s always been at least *somewhat* baked in.

It will sound *really* weird when I reference Intel/INTC. I bought into INTC when it hit ~20 a share because A)I understand technical infrastructure and people were forgetting that CPUs still have a place in a world where GPUs are hot, and B)the price of INTC dropped so ridiculously low that it was below pure book value.

Yes, my INTC holdings have obviously done quite well. But - it bothers me that the largest shareholder is the GD US Government. Intel did not *need* a bailout (and I oppose bailouts generally), but ironically? My portfolio is benefiting from this “corrupt, grifty socialism”.

Like I said. I want to vomit.

In a way, it's good to see where everyone stands now. I get it. We no longer seek power to right the ship, but just to stick it to the other guy as he stuck it to us. As long as our guy is the one doing it, everything's all good apparently.

So let everybody pretend that Trump's not crooked as hell doing all this stuff. I too, really don't care anymore. But can we at least be honest and dispense with all the "we're saving the Republic" BS?

It's just sad.

I’m glad I’m 60 and not 40 or younger.

I weep for my kids and grandkids, but dinner with my daughter and son-in-law a week ago? My SIL put it perfectly.

I give him extra bonus points for the Blues Brothers reference - but I thought he summed it up quite well. “We got both kinds of socialism here! Leftist socialism and MAGA socialism!”
