More than 115 million people could be exposed to unhealthy air quality. Dangerous wildfire smoke is filling the skies from the Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic. And in some areas, conditions are expected to worsen.
Through Friday, more than 115 million people are forecast to be exposed to air quality levels that are unhealthy or worse as winds funnel smoke south from out-of-control fires in Canada and Minnesota — and a heat dome traps that smoke near the ground. From late Wednesday into early Thursday, Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis and New York had some of the worst air quality of the world’s major cities, according to data from IQAir.
In Detroit, the air quality index reached a value of 728 late Wednesday, far worse than the peak of 465 in New York during the apocalyptic June 2023 fires. The smoke drifted into Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware, during the early hours of Thursday morning and was tracking southward along a path that roughly followed Interstate 95.
However, shifting winds closer to Baltimore and D.C. may keep the worst of the smoke out for most of the day Thursday — but not Thursday night...

This is all the fault of radical environmentalists, who forced Canadian government to stop all precautionary burning.

A weird thing to open the curtains this morning and see the Sun illuminating dense fog here in Michigan.
It literally does smell like smoke-—as I tried a few seconds of an open window.
Takes my mind off the fact I ate some lettuce and leafy greens within the past two weeks as the “Cyclospora: A microscopic parasite” and he rise of al-Sayed, the anti-semitic and anti-American candidate for US Senate in Michigan.
I think it’s safe to say that these wildfires were created in an outdoor lab.
It is bad here in Pittsburgh (SW Pennsylvania). Dog noticed it and I think it is worse than last time it was here, 2024 I think.

I’ve kept an eye on www.airnow.gov for the past few years when the Canadian wildfires became a thing. I’ve seen haze before but never more than red anywhere and yellow in my area. Today there’s a sea of purple and even the darker maroon color - over 400. This is bad.
Short-term air quality index (AQI) values in Detroit reached 650 at a monitor in Southwest Detroit Thursday, according to the Environmental Protection Agency’s AirNow tool. A private air monitor at the Stoudamire Wellness Hub on the city’s east side showed an AQI of 874.
Oh well I undoubtedly am delicious. :)

In the NE here; I just stepped outside for about 5 minutes and had to get back inside. I made a mental note of the fact that not a single one (AFAIK) of the usual climate hoaxers has said a word about this situation. Here we are, it’s almost impossible to breathe, and not a word - not even to blame it on “climate change”. Surely another tax will fix this, no? What’s happening here is just another in-your-face demonstration of the futility of “fighting” climate change when a$$holes such as in MN, CA, and Canada cannot do what they are supposed to do to prevent events like this, right now. But yep, they’ll fix things they know will happen in 20 years...what bull$shit.
They moved the Phillies Game up an hour. Stupid Socalist smoke
