Sen. Thom Tillis (N.C.), a retiring Republican who has become one of the most vocal critics of the Trump administration in his party, delivered harsh words for President Trump’s top-priority voter ID legislation on the Senate floor Thursday morning, saying he would stall it if the legislation came again to the Senate.
“If I see a reconciliation bill come from the House with another failed attempt to confuse this election, I will use every device I have available to slow down the wheels of government until people cop a clue and do the math,” Tillis said, nearly shouting, on the Senate floor.

These are the people that Mitch McConnell hand-picked over time to serve in the US Senate...wolves in the fold to thwart conservatism when needed.
Imagine next year when we have a 55-45 or 54-46 Republican majority Senate WITHOUT Thom Tillis, Mitch McConnell, Bill Cassidy, John Cornyn, Joni Ernst and Lindsey Graham, all Democrat helpmates.
We have 53 seats now and the only possible loss is North Carolina (Tillis' seat) and maybe Alaska (but not likely). With likely gains in New Hampshire, Georgia and Michigan.
Finally an actual majority, with Collins and Murkowski sidelined.
What is wrong with these people???????????...................
Retiring? He got thrown out in the primary didn’t he?
They’re compromised.
Morally and/or economically.
Thomo the RINO.......
Thomo the RINO.......
>> What is wrong with these people?
Their motive is beyond my ability to comprehend. Pure hatred and evil is all I can come up with.
Thillis read the tea leaves and decided against running for re-election. Besides, he’s already gotten his $$$.
No, he chose not to seek reelection. Good riddance either way.
What an ABSOLUTE TRAITOR!
“What is wrong with these people???????????”
The immortal 15 minutes of fame. I find it brainless for people to say they won’t pass something that requires an ID to perform like voting even though it took an ID to get into Taylor Swift’s wedding. So let’s drop ID’s and sell hallucinogens to minors like pot and alcohol or guns and let them on the road or within crowd control situations at 16 years of age. Does that sound a little “off” to you. It does me.

Tillis is a hardcore Dem. Always was and sneaked into (or was more likely placed in) the GOP. He is mentally sick as well. Basically he is supporting illegals voting, mass fake ballots, multiple voting, etc. by not supporting this bill.
May tillis rot in hell for eternity. Dems must have some grade A dirt on him.
They only care about their wallets. They do not care even for their own chilren, or they think they can protect their children while they don’t protect yours.
Loving the least of thee is their sin that they will have to be judged by.
Why couldn’t Tillis die of a dissected aorta?
The RATS at DungHill runs to rescue Tillis
The leftists have a point. The SAVE Act would make it more difficult for many. I didn’t have a birth certificate in my possession while in college.
Reform should be based on Trump’s postal service executive order.
The ballot of or for any person not considered a citizen should be treated as a provisional ballot.
The mail-in ballot of or for any person without a signature match made by (an FEC-certified) electro-optical means should be treated as a provisional ballot.
The mail-in ballot of or for any person without a matching date of birth of the voter should be treated as a provisional ballot.
The mail-in ballot of or for any person that traveled by an unusual postal path (as might be determined by USPS software after a cellphone Intelligent Mail barcode scan) should be treated as a provisional ballot.
Republican candidates who spend months of time campaigning certainly should be entitled to due process.
The SAVE Act is unlikely to survive a court challenge presented before a leftist judge. And you know Barrett and Roberts will typically vote to help Democrats in essential matters.
So adult and statesman like. Asshole!
Morally and/or economically.
This.
The bill for voting reform should have been the housing bill.
Tillia grew up a Democrat and just painted his stripes to get elected. He has now just reverted to what he always has been.
