The United States intensified its strikes targeting Iran early Thursday, hitting targets further north and into the Tehran area, as the Islamic Republic expanded its attacks on US allies in the region and vowed to “resist until the end.”
US strikes reached into areas around Iran’s capital, Tehran, for the first time in the latest round of violence, showing a widening set of targets for the Americans.
Iranian state media also reported American attacks in the northern Semnan province, home to Iran’s ballistic missile production and space program.
Other strikes were reported in the provinces of Hamedan, Hormozgan, Khuzestan, Lorestan, Markazi, and Sistan and Baluchistan.

At best it demonstrates Iran will not give up its forever war against western civilization.
Excellent.
Let’s get to the “End” part.
Today’s good.
Their terms are acceptable
‘resist until the end’
Your terms are acceptable......................
The only END will be if we put people there or we arm the Kurds to take them out.
Iran is attacking Gulf states, but not Israel.
There is a reason: Iran’s behavior has been modified by the Israeli military.
Iran - and Iranian Democrats in the U.S. - say Iran’s behavior can’t be modified by air power. That has been proven wrong.
By their reluctance to fire on their hated enemy Israel, the Iranians are saying “we don’t want anymore of that.”
Hmmmmmmm.......looks like Iran has more power than ever.....
even after the 10,000 bombing sorties Israel swore would take down Iran.
Well there you go; they just invited us to send them back to the stone age. No time to waste!
All they have to do now is wait for Vance — or any Democrat — to be elected.
Sounds good. Shouldn’t be much longer.
The Stone Age is an upgrade for most Arabs.
Due in part that they have Hezbollah and the Houthis to do that for them.
Please.
I know, aren’t we the nicest people to do that for them? Always giving and caring.
What color is the sky in your world? It sure ain’t blue.
Thursday is turn-around day. Gotta have a pseudo deal so the future oil prices go down, the stock market goes up, and life is beautiful. Then the Ceasefire is over on Saturday and the Ceasefire War resumes.
Yeah 😐🤦♂️🤦♀️🤦♀️🙄🙄🙄
Military experts...and historical precedent...suggest that additional
U.S. strikes alone are unlikely to bring down the Iranian regime.
While air strikes can severely degrade military capabilities, command centers, and infrastructure, regime change historically requires massive internal uprisings or sustained ground invasions.
Experts warn that escalated military action could: Strengthen Iran.
<><>Would rally domestic nationalism,
<><>would allow Iran to frame internal dissent as “foreign aggression.”
<><>Would trigger retaliatory attacks on US bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan,
<><>could escalate threats to block global energy exports through the Strait of Hormuz.
<><>would draw the US into a prolonged regional war without clear pathways to toppling Tehran.
Some people don’t realize that Iran is a big country.
Also, the comments about the ‘stone age’ are telling about why 10k sortis can’t end this.
The two problems go together to explain why it’s not a simple problem to solve.
You have very large theater combined with the fact that we are NOT trying to reduce their country back to the stone age nor kill civilians if at all possible, combined with the fact that we are NOT planning to put boots on the ground and secure territory.
