As part of President Trump’s continued push to discredit the results of the 2020 election, his administration has considered using AI technology to scrutinize tens of thousands of ballots seized in Fulton County, Georgia, ProPublica has learned.
The FBI has explored using artificial intelligence to assess the validity of signatures on tens of thousands of mail-in ballot envelopes seized from Fulton County, Georgia, the latest push in the Trump administration’s unprecedented reinvestigation of the 2020 vote.
The effort, according to internal communications reviewed by ProPublica and an agency tech specialist familiar with the work, focuses on comparing signatures on ballot envelopes with signatures on other election documents, such as registration forms. President Donald Trump has long claimed, without evidence, that the 2020 election was stolen from him.

AI is wonderful when the left uses it, but a threat to the world when the right uses it.
The problem with mail in ballots.
The only verification is the signature.
It is verified by somebody looking at it and comparing with some on the record (if done properly).
that somebody is not a graphologist (there are not too many of those) and likely overworked and bored.
In this particular case, I would actually trust AI a lot more than some subjective and maybe biased human being.
AI is useful in making decisions to allocate one’s efforts.
The Sour Grapes Express.
“As part of President Trump’s continued push to discredit the results of the 2020 election...”
No need to read further, is there? Do they think that I’m as stupid as a DemocRAT?
Propaganda
“Most secure election, ever”
*****************
“What, me worry?”
Tomorrow’s news conference will probably address this issue so the commies are running preemptive interference.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight
If the democRATs/DemoKKKrats had their way, all ballot counting for the entire country would take place in the office of the Mayor of Lost Angeless.
In this case, the Administration is seeking evidence.

I read your comment and had that very thought. I will say that I am
For anything that reasonably helps make election more secure and transparent.
The democrats are against everything that does this.
No matter how much you hate these people, you don't hate them enough.
LOL...
1. “President Donald Trump has long claimed, without evidence...”
2. But, when President Trump looks for the evidence that rectify their “no evidence” concerns, they flip to “it’s nothing but President Trump’s continued push to discredit the results of the 2020 election”
They sure like having it both ways.
Propublica has done that for years.
Bryan Dean Wright’s podcast (ex-CIA) today stated that much of the speech tomorrow would deal with voting fraud and particularly focused on the GA mess, two illegal senators and so forth. Too bad Thune isn’t one of them.

Handwritten signature verification is one of the frequently used biometric in administrative, financial, legal, and similar scenarios to verify the identity of a person. Unfortunately, the offline nature of this task makes it more challenging as it involves intra-signature variance, and various temporal and environmental factors. This paper presents a novel offline signature verification system (OSVS) called SignGuard. …They are trained using hybrid machine learning framework such that Support Vector Machine and XGBoost classifiers are integrated for the verification of a signature image in an offline mode. The performance of SignGuard is exploited on CEDAR, SID, and BHSig260 datasets, along with a novel dataset called DeepSignVault, such that OC-CSLBP and CS-LBP yields an accuracy of 98.77% and 97.46%, respectively.
It’s an opinion piece disguised a news.
I’m sure AI will do an excellent job of pointing out anomalies. These people are acting like it’s going to send a robot out to execute them
We are seeing a full court liberal press to try and get ahead of Trump’s Thursday briefing to the nation, they are terrified!
