A Canadian woman living in New Jersey who allegedly slapped a teenage girl for wearing patriotic MAGA-branded clothing is set to be deported.
Kaitlyn Tracey, 33, allegedly filmed herself confronting the teenager and her friends during Fourth of July celebrations on the Jersey Shore. According to court documents, the group of friends were walking on the boardwalk when Tracey berated them for wearing 'patriotic colored' sweatpants, before slapping one of the girls across her face and body, per NJ.com.
The sweatpants were reportedly emblazoned with the words 'Trump' and 'ICE', sparking fury from the leftist.
The victim was not injured in the alleged attack, and her age is redacted from the court documents. ***
She is now facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child, simple assault, harassment and obstruction, and is set to be deported back to Canada.
Her husband Matthew Geroni shared a TikTok video of himself crying over her arrest, saying through tears: 'I need help... my wife is being detained by ICE.' He previously posted a video wishing cancer on every member of President Trump's family, including his youngest grandchildren, while dancing to George Michael's Faith.
Tracey had entered the United States with a passport in 2024, the court records show, and she had been living in Asbury Park, New Jersey, with her husband.
It is unclear if she was there on a spousal visa or green card.
Her husband Geroni begged for money in his emotional TikTok video, saying he urgently needed an immigration attorney but 'I don't have any money, I am so f***ing broke.' Geroni said he initially launched a GoFundMe to help get his wife out of Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention, but the fundraiser was pulled down after it was reported.

As I often wail in this forum, lawsuits are not the equivalent of winning the lottery. Just because you have a cause of action doesn’t mean you get to clean the other person out. The recovery is a function of the quantifiable economic loss.What are the kids damages? Needed medical treatment? Unlikely, but even if so look to about 3 times the amount of bills incurred.
