“The warm suck of Communism. Coming to a city near New York soon.”

NYC residents are clueless about what is coming their way.

Every Mandami supporter thinks he is going to take from the “rich” and give that money to them so THEY can be rich. At that point they’ll stop hating “rich” people. What they don’t realize is that they are the “rich” who will be losing everything. Including their electricity.

You have to beware the scenario where the dims are in the WH and control Congress and NYC gets a large bailout to cover, prolong, and exacerbate the failure...

Bingo. Madmani brags that he balanced the budget on the backs of the rich but he actually “balanced” it with a bailout from Albany who raised taxes on everybody. Dumbasses.

There is hope for Cuba but Raul Castro’s grandson wants any modernization to be Cuban like Viet Nam and China’s. In other words no American influence. Kinda hard to do when we’re so close and they need so much so fast. Try this long winded article:

Perhaps the answer is a group of Milton Friedman’s Chicago Boys that turned Chile around. That’s not what they have in mind but they got a lotta catching up to do. Start their turnaround with a fireworks display like we had on the 4th.

I think the U.S. has blocked oil from Venezuela from going to Cuba. That is where they were getting most of their oil.

Castro’s pal Che Guevara would have set things right by shooting a few power plant supervisors.

But maybe Cuba doesn’t do that anymore.

Yes, part of Cuba’s problem is the US imposed sanctions. However, more importantly is Cuba is broke and can’t afford to pay for the oil. And, no one will extend them credit. Cuba used to live off Soviet provided cash.
Another reason is Venezuela is no longer providing Cuba oil for free.

After months of a crippling oil blockade on Cuba imposed by the United States, the fuel-starved country may now see some relief after the US government said it would begin authorising companies to resell Venezuelan oil, even as tensions between the two reach a head.

On Wednesday, the US Department of the Treasury said it would allow the resale of Venezuelan oil for “commercial and humanitarian use” in Cuba as the small island nation faces one of its worst fuel crises in decades.

so, not true

Cuba uses fossil fuels? I am shocked. The country should have converted to wind and solar. Also with all the sugar produced, it could have make some sugar based fuel and used that fuel to generate power.
