Initiative allows newborns to be enrolled in new and streamlined processes
Baltimore, MD – Today, the Social Security Administration (SSA) announced it is launching processes for parents to enroll newborns in Trump Accounts. This automatic system will help ensure that every newborn has the opportunity to benefit from a Trump Account from the start of life. One year ago, on July 4, 2025, President Donald J. Trump signed into law the Working Families Tax Cuts, which created Trump Accounts, a new type of individual retirement account for eligible minors under the age of 18.
"Trump Accounts represent one of the most significant investments in the next generation of Americans in our nation’s history, providing American children with a strong financial footing for the future,” said SSA Commissioner Frank J. Bisignano. “Social Security numbers are the backbone of Trump Accounts, and we will empower parents to enroll their newborns through the Enumeration at Birth program to take full advantage of this program from the day a child is born. This effort aligns with SSA’s mission to provide financial security and support to the American people.”
Starting next week, Social Security will update guidance to hospitals to include Trump Account enrollment information. SSA will assist the states to modify their existing hospital forms used by parents to apply for Social Security numbers through the Enumeration at Birth (EAB) program to include the automatic creation of a Trump Account. Future Social Security card mailers for newborns will also include information to inform parents about the benefits of Trump Accounts and convenient and streamlined ways to open an account.
Social Security will update its webpages and publications with Trump Account enrollment details. SSA will also work closely with its national network of external partners and stakeholders to disseminate information about Trump Accounts.
Trump Accounts can be established for newborns and children who have a valid Social Security number up until they reach the age of 18. A one-time $1,000 pilot program contribution from the Department of Treasury is available to eligible children born between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2028, who are U.S. citizens with a valid Social Security number. Six million children have been enrolled in Trump Accounts to date.
On July 4, 2026, children with Trump Accounts who are eligible for the initial $1,000 contribution from the U.S. Government will start receiving the funds in their account. Please visit TrumpAccounts.gov for further information and to create a Trump Account for an eligible child by completing IRS Form 4547.

Fascinating. How many good Americans will contribute to those accounts not necessarily their own kin? Rich folks have done it already.
How does a Trump Account differ from a traditional IRA or a Roth IRA?

Unfortunately, birth right citizenship will automatically allow these dual citizenship, America hating foreigners to enroll, further rewarding the felonious acts of the invaders.
I predict that because of this treasonous act of five SC justices, within 30 years, the US will have a majority Islamic population, most of whom will not even speak English and will have no connection to this country or its founding principles. And these justices either hate this country so much they are indifferent to the effects of this ruling or else they have been bought. I hope against hope, we have honest elections and possibly get enough senators to remove them. In any case, the house should impeach them for this. Have a public trial in the house and make them explain why they gave our country to our enemies.

I haven’t looked into it, but I was told that the Trump Accounts use money (going in) upon which taxes have already been paid. And then, when the money comes out, you have to pay taxes on it as income. So it combines the worst aspects of both the traditional IRA and a Roth IRA. I do not know for sure if this is true.

Is this coming out of our Social Security Administration which is going to run out of money for those receiving social security benefits by 2030? So illegals and everyone else’s children who enroll in these accounts will eligible.
