Ukraine Launches Combat Bonuses of $2,200 for Captures and $330 for Enemy Kills

Ukrainian troops will receive cash bonuses for capturing or destroying enemy personnel under the first stage of a sweeping overhaul of the Defense Forces, the Ministry of Defense announced on June 29.

The awards stem from the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution, which launched an experimental project introducing additional payments for combat results, according to the ministry.

The ministry described the measure as part of the first stage of the Defense Forces’ transformation.

It framed the payments as a way to reward front-line service members for confirmed action against enemy personnel.

The ministry set two award levels:

roughly $2,200 for taking an enemy service member prisoner;

around $330 for destroying enemy personnel.

When several servicemembers jointly take a prisoner, the ministry noted, the larger award is divided proportionally among them.

The bonus for destroying enemy personnel in firearms or hand-to-hand combat is paid only when supported by corresponding video confirmation, the ministry added.

The payments are disbursed at the unit commander's direction, together with regular pay, the ministry explained......

.....Under the new contracts, monthly pay on the line of contact averages about $6,700 and can exceed $10,000, with daily rewards tied to holding combat positions, seek-and-destroy missions, and assault operations.

Ukraine Allies Announce More Than $4 Billion in New Military Aid at Ramstein Meeting

Among the largest announcements was a £752 million ($1 billion) package from the United Kingdom, described by UK Defense Minister Dan Jarvis as Britain’s largest aid commitment unveiled during a UDCG meeting. The package includes 150,000 drones, more than 350 air defense missiles, radar systems, and other equipment intended to strengthen Ukraine’s ability to defend its skies and sustain battlefield operations.

“This package of drones, air defense missiles, and radars will help to protect innocent Ukrainian people from Putin’s barrage of drones and missiles. It is an honor to welcome President Zelenskyy to this important meeting,” Jarvis said during his opening remarks at UDCG.

Several countries, including Germany, the Netherlands, Latvia, Norway, Lithuania, Denmark, Luxembourg, Croatia, Sweden, and Iceland, pledged hundreds of millions of dollars through NATO’s Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL), a mechanism that finances the purchase of military equipment for Ukraine...”

So “a country that’s broke” is able to keep former-superpower Russia bogged-down?

Do you even realize how truly pathetic and incompetent that makes Russia look?!! (lol)

“Pootin’s Legacy of Failure” continues ...

“who is still paying $$$ billions”

Was Samantha Power at USAID keeping the lights on, now I’m guessing the Brennan CIA cabal is selling their Satoshi Nakamoto cache of Bitcoins.

Meanwhile the UK and France are just trying to bridge the gap to another Obama/WEF installed USA President.

Is anyone still promoting the notion that Russia has been “Holding back” for 4+ YEARS! And now is about to really start trying harder to win?

That’s the best way of fighting a war - offer a bounty for each kill or capture.

Are the prices the same when they kill North Korean Army personnel, or soldiers of the Islamic Chechen military?

Evil is being defeated, stay patient. They put their black money into digital thinking they can hide their corruption....Over $730 billion has been wiped out from Asian stock markets today as AI and semiconductor stocks sell off....Bitcoin is down 43 percent YOY...their AI data centers are starving for copper and Silver.

Silver is in a six year mining deficit, copper at historic highs, hopefully the metal shortages will slow down this data center and AI madness.

Russia has been “Holding back” for 4+ YEARS!

Be thankful Vlad hasn’t leveled Kiev....as many leaders in Russia has called for...
....give a two week notice to evacuate Kiev by a certain date, then drop a low yield nuke....a one kiloton low yield would do the trick. The war would be over rather quickly..

Not saying I agree, but it would end hostilities instantly.

What would the “fall-out” be from such a drastic move? No pun intended.

4 years?
If Putin couls have ended it in his favor, he would have by now.
Thus, somehow Putin figures he cannot do that, and that is why we haven’t seen tactical low-yield nukes used on the Ukes yet.
Putin must be willing to allow the Ukes to expand drone attacks deeper and deeper into Russia, shorting them on gasoline and diesel. He is so willing to allow this but he could destroy Ukraine at any moment, as soon as he feels like it?
It feels nonsensical to even say it.

Now that is true whacked out desperation, you now think that your invading forces are so diminished and matched on the battlefield that you need to nuke your neighbor’s capitol to save yourselves .

Things have sure changed from the confident first days of the surprise invasion more than 4 years by the world’s second military power because it can’t pull off the invasion with its existing military forces, and must go nuclear.

More like an intentional misreading on your part...

you now think that your invading forces are so diminished and matched on the battlefield that you need to nuke your neighbor’s capitol to save yourselves .

...which creates the straw-man you then burn down.

Rather than falsely disparaging the poster, why don't you simply acknowledge that Russia has the military capability to wipe out Kiev and has shown a certain restraint in not doing so?

First of all, it's not 'their war with Russia'; it's Russia's war on Ukraine.

When it comes to being broke, Russia is the one that's run out of funding for the war and has had to dig into the pensions of Russians and has also dropped wages to government employees, and has also fired about 100,000 employees.

With businesses having to close because there is no fuel to power their businesses and with the government making business unprofitable because of Putin's war taxes, there isn't enough taxes to fund the war.

Pay attention; you're woefully ignorant about what's really going on in Ukraine or Russia.

It was a ridiculous and desperate suggestion.

As we approach the 5 year mark and the Russian and Kim Jong Un’s North Korean forces and the Muslim armed forces have suffered unimaginable losses totalling together in the 100s of thousands, the tone from the pro-Russia posters has changed a lot.
