France saw around 1,000 additional deaths last week at the height of its record-smashing heat wave, the country’s public health agency said Sunday, as the head of the World Health Organization warned that Europe is now the fastest-warming continent and needs to do more to protect its citizens.
Temperature records were toppled in several countries on the weekend, wildfires were sparked in Germany and Berlin police used water cannons to cool down the crowds.
Meanwhile, the heat wave slowly moved toward eastern parts of the continent.
Germany marked a new record for the third day in a row with 41.7 degrees Celsius (107 degrees Fahrenheit) in Neißemünde, near the border with Poland. The Czech Republic also experienced its hottest day ever with 41.1 C (106.4 F).
A new study from the World Weather Attribution, a Europe-based collaboration of scientists, reported Friday that the record-breaking heat and humidity in Europe this past week would not have been possible without climate change.
The rapid study found that the heat would have been virtually impossible just five decades ago, and is 200 times more likely today than it would have been 20 years ago.

All part of the plan.
A blood bath, you can buy a 5000 btu window unit for about $150 in America and it costs very little to run, put that in your grandma’s little apartment and she will live.
No AC or so expensive to use they can’t. Net zero kills.
It's settled science in Europe.
SW Wisconsin will have highs in the 90’s all week, starting tomorrow.
It’s called ‘Summer.’
Also - don’t the Enviroweenies take air conditioners away from people in France? I blame THEM for these additional deaths.
But, they don’t care. Snuffing out Mankind is their, ‘Final Solution.’ Except for THEM, of course! You never hear about Enviroweenies dropping like flies now, do ya? *SPIT*
10 times as many people die from cold than heat!
In some of the videos I’ve seen of World Cup tourists, they mention that we have A/C here. (BTW, they love it.) Many, especially the French, say it’s taboo in their countries.
On more thing the American citizen American haters should be grateful for, but apparently aren’t.
I’m proud to be an American
Where at least I have AC
And I won’t forgive the carbon scam
That tried to take that right from me
I’d gladly sit down in my room
And enjoy that sweet cool air
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt
I love this chill
God bless my Frigidaire!
All due to Covid.

Quick, Euro-fascists! Clamp down even harder on your populations. And spend even more of their tax dollars fighting this imaginary problem.
Side note to the European elite:
Don’t worry, guys. Your offices, residences, and palaces will have all the AC you want. You provide essential services, dontcha know?
Uncivilized barbaric way to live. Of course I remember living in Tampa in the 50’s with no AC. But as a kid, who cared. And we rode in the DDT cloud of the skeeter trucks too.
Just clearing out the old French to make room for the new French.
Perfect.
Algore is basking in it
Keep your eye on the ball.
They are making a push.
I was in a grocery store yesterday and there were signs in each isle advising that the store would deduct $20.00 from the grocery bill for each member of the family that received the current flu vaccine.
WTF does a grocery store care if I get the flu jab?
Portland, Oregon, reached 115 degrees on June 28, 2021, during the unprecedented Pacific Northwest ***Heat Dome***.
The New York Times
During this historic event, the Portland International Airport (PDX) recorded 115 degrees in the afternoon before eventually peaking at an all-time record high of 116 degrees later that evening. This obliterated the city’s previous all-time record of 107 degrees, which had stood since 1965
