It’s very good news, but where can we really give credit? Just being honest but it’s not like junkies just stopped doing drugs. Maybe, but unlikely. Perhaps they are killing themselves off and there are fewer new recruits, thus fewer new deaths. Perhaps it is the free availability of Narcan. Or maybe, just maybe, the scumbag pushers have realized its a bad business model to kill your customers and have moderated or purified their products.
Re: the previous Administration: Life is cheap, to Democrats.
We will see if it goes back up if a Democrat is elected (or pro open borders Republican).
They are also the people most likely to overdose because they generally know dippity-doodle about what they are consuming.
The interesting thing is that if you cut the supply of drugs coming into the country that these are the people who quit consuming.
With any item, if you make it even mildly inconvenient to get you are going to have a drop in consumption.
