Measure to give noncitizens the right to vote in LA city elections to go before voters

The Los Angeles City Council took one step closer toward possibly giving noncitizens the right to vote in city elections, agreeing to put the measure on the Nov. 3 ballot.

The measure is part of a package of proposed charter changes that will go before voters later this year.

In a decisive 10-5 vote, the council on Wednesday approved a proposal introduced by Councilman Hugo Soto-Martinez to implement noncitizen or "residential" voting for city and Los Angeles Unified District elections.

Soto-Martinez emphasized individuals with some form of legal status such as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, Temporary Protected Status holders, legal permanent residents would be allowed to vote under such a program.

"This issue to me is really about fairness and representation," Soto-Martinez said. "It just does not make sense to me that someone who moves to Los Angeles for a temporary job has more of a voice than a parent who has been here for decades, raising their children through our public schools."

We’re supposed to work up sympathy for Los Angeles residents.

I’m above that.

So they want to legalize what is already being overlooked.

But there is a condition: The illegal alien must promise to vote for the Democrat/Communist/Jihadist Party candidate before they receive a ballot ... and if they can't read or understand English -- which is almost always the case -- they can have a Democrat/Communist/Jihadist Party pollworker do it for them.
See how it all so nicely and efficiently comes together?

I can’t believe that LA would let this happen. If it does, I would either question the legitimacy of the count or just write off LA as a lost cause.

Voters will have likely have little say in this, it pretends to go before voters as the liberals will do their best to just cheat it in.

If they deliberately allow non-citizens to vote in the Presidential election California results should be excluded from the official tally.

This measure has already passed, because the ballots are already printed.

That is exactly the kind of abuse intended to be corrected by the Jan6+- Special Session of Congress that follows every presidential election.

As if it matters. Let the illegals vote in L.A. Even if every one of them voted for a republican’t, and even if every person in the city voted for a republican’t, the rat candidate would still “win”.
