Britain will provide 150,000 drones to Ukraine by the end ‌of 2026 as part of a £752 million ($996 million) funding package, defence minister Dan Jarvis said on Thursday at a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in Brussels.

The package, funded by Britain's £2.26 billion loan to Ukraine, includes 350 air defence missiles ‌and ground-based radar systems.

The loan is backed by proceeds from immobilised Russian sovereign assets.

Jarvis, who co-chaired the meeting with his German counterpart, met with U.S. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth and other defence ministers including France and Ukraine.

“The loan is backed by proceeds from immobilised Russian sovereign assets.”
********************************************************************

Ahh… a “loan” (that will never be paid back) from “immobilized Russian sovereign assets” (I.e., OTHER-PEOPLE’S-MONEY). And they wonder why London is gradually eroding as a trusted major financial center while they enthusiastically support the continuing colonization of Britain by third world invaders (both legal and illegal). Just sayin’.

Forget the Iran War, the Ukraine War is a bigger fish fry.

UK to provide 150,000 drones to Ukraine as part of $996 million package

Ukraine built approximately four million military drones last year.

Up from just 150,000 drones in 2023, the industry grew by thousands of percent to top 1 million in 2024.

Ukraine aims to produce roughly 7 million drones annually

In February of 2022, we had about 3,000 drones total being produced in Ukraine — FPV (First-Person View), UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicles), sea drone, anything of the sort. Ninety-nine percent of them were imported as entire systems from China.

In 2026, we basically have 99% being assembled in Ukraine. Now, just the FPV industry alone is cited to be able to produce up to 5 million FPV drones per year. That doesn’t include our massive industry of heavy bomber drones, ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance), loitering munitions, or UGVs, which is now a booming industry in Ukraine as well.

But the most impressive thing isn’t necessarily just those numbers — we went from about 3,000 systems being made in February ’22 to 4 million FPVs alone. It’s the actual localization of that final assembly and the way that Ukraine has been able to completely transform its drone manufacturing industry. Now we’re at a point where 99% of the systems are final assembly in Ukraine with a lot of components being imported, but basically no final systems being imported from China anymore, which is a massive accomplishment.

The neo-marxists and globalists in the UK are a far bigger threat to the USA and Western Civilization than the Russians

I would encourage the Russians to start attacking UK interests wherever they find them.

They really really need that money for their own defense, yet they are giving it away to Ukraine and calling it a loan, which will NEVER be repaid.

UK needs it for their "own defense" against who exactly?

Immigrant invasion for starters.

A country’s first priority should be to provide for their own defense before throwing money they to other countries.

The UK doesn’t even have a functioning navy right now. No subs are available and they don’t have the men necessary to man their ships, if they finally get them ready to go.

That's not all the UK's Deep State is doing. For example...

UK vows to phase out Russian diesel and jet fuel imports by new year

Why has the UK been buying Russian energy all along...?

You don't need destroyers, or subs to intercept a small boat or inflatable dinghy with immigrants. Its massive overkill.

They need subs and destroyers for normal defense. Are you deliberately being obtuse?

It took them 3 weeks to get one frigate ready for a world emergency to get to Cyprus.
