Ukraine is seeking an additional $20 billion in military funding from its allies, Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said on Wednesday at a joint press conference with his Dutch counterpart.
A Ukrainian defence source told Reuters last week that Ukraine would make the request on Thursday at a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, an alliance of more than 50 countries also known as the Ramstein group that provides financial and military aid for Kyiv.
Fedorov said that of the nearly $40 billion funding already announced, Ukraine saw $24 billion in the supply schedule.
He added that Ukraine has been working with partners recently to increase the quality of the aid so that it corresponds to Kyiv's priorities such as extended-range artillery, Ukrainian drones, investments in NATO's Prioritised Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) initiative and air defence.

Can we ever stop pretending it’s not a proxy war?

It was never a proxy war: Ukraine didn’t attack Russia, Russia attacked Ukraine, which has frightened the Europeans enough that they are now subsidizing Ukraine’s war effort.

Russia is a very big country, and destroying all it's military and revenue producing assets, takes a lot of money for producing enough missiles and drones.

The grift continues.
Yeah. By now, Zelensky is wealthier than Musk.
Still, I wonder where the drones and missiles and other war equipment comes from, if Ukraine is just stealing the money. Putin would be wishing that the grifting was true and his invasion would've been successful the first year.

Stop it!
You can't be impacting the little Putinistas' minds with truth telling.

Okay, I'll stop pretending. Now what??? Stop sending money to the Ukraine black hole where billions disappear without a trace faster than the speed of light.
It's not rocket science.

No history doesn’t, especially the centuries of Russian invasions, looting, and atrocities.

Stop sending money to the Ukraine black hole
The money contributed by the Europeans to Ukraine, is not my money. The Europeans can send all of their wealth and deficit-spending-money to Ukraine, if they want; it's their money and it's their continent they are defending, even if, as you put it, thru a proxy. The world needs more proxies. ;-)
were billions disappear without a trace faster than the speed of light.
I'm pretty sure the Russians can trace money headed their way, as represented by drones and missiles and ammunition and artillery. If you happen to be anywhere near the war, you can trace those missiles and drones too. Tracing (tracking) is how Russia is able to shoot down a great amount of that 'untraceable' money. The drones and missiles do not go faster than the speed of light, btw, and neither does money fly faster than light. Only your imagination flies faster than light, but you and Putin are still losing in Ukraine. Slow down and think, and then you might be able to notice how the money is really getting spent. It's not rocket science.

And wasn’t the MAIN reason (of which there are a few) because of bammy/hillarous implying that ukraine become certified NATO? Now a generation of young men on both sides wiped from the face of the earth. Millions skimmed on the backs of ukrainians dead for the warlords....countless of 1000’s russians dead materials/buildings/infrastructure destroyed? no one thinking the chinks might get a lil’ worried if the soviet union gets any weaker and starts with their slope headed presence? Bama/clintons...billions to scumbag leaders of youkrane?....Did I leave anything out?
