President Trump joked Wednesday that he will blame Vice President Vance if the preliminary deal with Iran falls through.
“I like that idea, sure,” Trump said when asked by Fox News’s Peter Doocy if his vice president would take the fall if the deal fails.
“If it works out, I’m going to take the credit. If it doesn’t work out, I’m blaming JD. You better be careful, JD. He’s going to turn his plane around and get the hell out of here,” he joked

Most likely will blame Vance as Trump will never take nay blame...
OMG you are so stupud you don’t know what a joke is.
Many a truth is said in jest.
Obvious joke but Im still running with the theory that this is all a rouse to just bring down the gas prices and lower inflation, then after the midterms, God willing we keep both houses, Trump will say “This deal sucks lets bomb their asses” and bombs away

It even SAYS “he joked” in the article, yet you ignore that and post your usual anti-Trump crap. Tsk tsk....
you’re showing your true colors with every word. Not very bright, are you.
His postings from yesterday kinda said he’s not so bright and he may even be a SECRET DEM.
And many a jest is just a jest.
Things are moving in DeSantis’s derection

Nonsense. People, including Trump, only joke about the downside loss when they fully expect a downside loss. Trump is notorious for blaming everyone but himself when things come unglued.
Remember this...
It's so damn obvious, but people like fake drama I guess.
I'm of similar opinion. After all, no deal with those maniacs will last -- everyone involved knows full well any agreement is written in beach sand waiting for the next incoming wave to wash it away. They just can't say the quiet part out loud.
Moreover, everyone knows that the only thing that will stop those maniacs for good is to send every single one of them to their own 72 virgins.
Should have thought about the midterms back in March before starting this fiasco.
I figured the Admin didn’t care about the midterms, and proceeded to bomb knowing the damage it will do to the R’s.

Oh look. Yet ‘another’ anti-Trump, TDSing twit bleats up.
Ho hum.... it’s getting so predictably boring around here.
Bottom line, logic dictates that WHEN the MOU proves to have not been ‘understood’ by the insane Iranian mullahs...
nobody is going to be surprised and the only ones getting the blame will be the insane Iranian mullahs.
Sad, that you’re not bright enough to grasp that reality, and it will be equally sad... for you... when that happens and Trump does not get blamed. Awwww...
Trump is failing to convince the public.
I'd say Rubio/DeSantis may be a good match.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a greater disconnect between reality and the beliefs of people on FR with this Iran thing.
It will be interesting to see reality catching up with people.
If people are mad at the deal, and think it doesn’t make sense, it’s because they have gross misconceptions about the true situation.
If we had better cards, the negotiated deal would be very different. But we don’t
It seems like FR is being taken over by morons.
I could be wrong, heck Ive been wrong many times before but Im sticking to this theory, and for those who say “Well this is a midterm year why did he bother doing this to begin with” because they thought that once the Ayotollah was taken out, that Iran would be in such a shock that they would just give up, I mean their big leader was dead, and it came out of no where no one saw it coming, that they would just be like “OMG they killed our God, we just cant” and that would be it that simple, didnt work out that way
