President Trump went on the record again about the 2020 election, and this time he says the guessing is over.
Speaking in a new Pod Force One interview with Miranda Devine, Trump said the contest was rigged and that his team now knows exactly what happened.
“The election was rigged. We know who rigged the election,” Trump said.
He added: “We know everything now.”
Leading Report summarized the moment this way:
The important caveat is that Trump did not name specific people in that exchange.
When Devine pressed him on whether anyone would be punished, Trump declined to spell it out. He said he did not want to get into it and added, “let’s see what happens.”
That restraint tracks with how he handled the rest of the conversation.
Earlier in the interview, after Devine raised the Hunter Biden laptop and the letter from 51 former intelligence officials who dismissed it, Trump said he would not get into Justice Department details. He said officials were “looking into plenty of things.”
The interview was recorded at the White House, and Devine teased it the day before it dropped.

The episode, titled “President Trump Unleashed: Bibi, ‘Are You Effing Crazy?!’” covered a lot of ground.
Per the show’s description, Trump also talked about Benjamin Netanyahu, Iran, John Thune, Ron DeSantis, Jill Biden’s debate stories, and a possible Marco Rubio and JD Vance ticket in 2028.
On election integrity itself, Trump pushed the same policy he has hammered for years: voter ID, proof of citizenship, and an end to mass mail-in ballots.
None of this is the first time Trump has signaled that prosecutions could be coming over 2020.
He said it bluntly back in January at the World Economic Forum in Davos, and the official transcript captured the warning.
Here is the relevant passage from the GovInfo record of his January 21, 2026 Davos remarks:
The war with Ukraine is an example. We are thousands of miles away, separated by a giant ocean.
It’s a war that should have never started, and it wouldn’t have started if the 2020 U.S. Presidential election weren’t rigged. It was a rigged election.
Everybody now knows that. They found out.
People will soon be prosecuted for what they did. It’s probably breaking news, but it should be.
It was a rigged election. Can’t have rigged elections.
You need strong borders, strong elections, and ideally, a good press. I always say it: strong borders, strong elections—free, fair elections—and a fair media.
The media is terrible. It’s very crooked.
It’s very biased, terrible. But someday it’ll straighten out because it’s losing all credibility.
Think of it. When I win in a landslide, a giant landslide—won all seven swing States, won the popular vote.
We’ve won everything, and I only get negative press. That means that it has no credibility.
That was the official transcript of a sitting president telling a global audience that people would soon answer for what they did.
Five months later, the language has only gotten sharper.
At Davos he said “everybody now knows.” On Pod Force One he said “we know everything now.”
What changes between those two statements is the certainty.
Trump is no longer framing this as a suspicion or a talking point. He is describing it as settled knowledge inside his administration.
What he is not doing, at least not yet, is reading off a list of names.
The “let’s see what happens” line is the tell. It leaves the door open and the pressure on, without committing to a timeline he does not control.
For now, the news is the statement itself and the man who made it.
President Trump says the question of who rigged 2020 is no longer open inside his White House, and the people who did it are left waiting to find out what “let’s see what happens” really means.
