It appears James Talarico's church practices what it preaches, which isn't a good thing. His woke church, which believes God is non-binary and that Jesus would have been a-okay with abortion, is spending some of its money on woke initiatives, including a trans summer camp and funding travel for out-of-state abortions. At the Texas church where the Democrat senate hopeful preaches sermons on the need for abortion in the “trans community,” church funds are sent not only to abortion giant Planned Parenthood, but also to radical organizations that pay to help facilitate out-of-state travel for women to kill their unborn babies, and an organization that runs a summer camp for transgender-identifying kids as young as 11. St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, the woke Austin church attended by Talarico, lists Planned Parenthood, which ends the lives of hundreds of thousands of unborn babies every year, as one of the organizations that shares its “vision and goals for the world.”
The church, which The Daily Wire reported last week stocks sexually explicit books aimed at young people in its library, sets aside money every year for Planned Parenthood, according to its website. It also describes itself as a “Reproductive Freedom Congregation,” meaning it believes that “abortion is a blessing.”

“church”
Why can’t they be like other church’s where the pastor hires hookers and owns jets?
Sounds like a secular humanist church.
How near-fetched!
It IS.
I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: It’s impossible to be a Bible-believing Christian and vote blue. The Democrat party’s current stance on moral issues has made them incompatible with the Christianity. Anyone who tells you they’re a Christian and vote blue is not a Christian.
My late mom went to a conservative Southern Baptist church. In her circle of friend there, a few were dyed-in-the-wool Democrat voters, but were nevertheless conservative. I was mystified, considering the teaching at conservative churches. All I could guess is a complete, psychotic disconnect between faith and Party ideology. That, or complete ignorance (or willful blindness) on what a political Party is pushing.
If you are new to a community and you are “church shopping”, one easy way to tell if they are following the Lord or not, is to pay attention to what they speak about on Sunday mornings. If they are speaking about how great they are and the wonderful things they do, they are not God’s people. If they speak about how great God is and the wonderful things He does to bless us, those are more likely to be God’s people. It’s not a foolproof system but, over a couple of Sundays, you can usually figure it out.
Church gatherings are a symptom, but it goes beyond that. It’s really hard to convince them that Trump did not tell them to inject bleach when they think they heard him say that.
Sounds like Talarico is definitely on the wrong trail as a pastor/teacher/whatever it is that he does in the church.
Funding transportation for out of state abortions? Maybe revisiting this “church’s” tax status is appropriate.
Or like the church of the blinking guy in Houston never mentions Jesus.
Not a church at all. The word is used in their not for profit filings so they get a tax break. Biggest scam out there after the Somalis
AMEN!
If they teach the written word of God, which is the Bible, you are amongst fellow Christians.
Dems would be happy to pay a fine to make Freako a senator. I don’t think enough Texans will vote for him though.
Presbyterians, Episcopalians, Methodists etc congregations allowed their churches to be stolen from them by the gay crowd of seminarians. They wanted God’s approval of their lifestyle so they stole the churches, along with their old, respected names. Such a deception.
I think some of them are dishonest. Others are just crazy or evil. Meanwhile phony generals were taking over the Pentagon.
It's not that simple. Many who are in false churches BELIEVE they are hearing the truth only to have that message warped, diluted or deleted to fit their ungodly agenda.
When I was college-aged, there were several Scriptures that condemned homosexuality. Today, many of those passages are re-written so as not to offend those who need to be offended so that they can repent of their sins.
