Spencer Pratt lays out plan to defeat Mayor Karen Bass in November runoff: ‘I could not be more excited’

Spencer Pratt has confidently claimed he’s already looking ahead to a November runoff as election results Tuesday night showed him comfortably in second place behind incumbent Mayor Karen Bass.

“She knows it’s on. I hope she’s ready,” Pratt said on Tuesday. “I literally could not be more excited.”

“I am ready for whatever God puts in front of me,” he said.

“I was going to be happy if I wasn’t moving forward, but now I feel very confident.”

Pratt told reporters, “I literally could not be more excited,” when asked about a potential runoff. Andy Johnstone for CA Post Pratt said the coming months will allow him to continue building a team capable of governing Los Angeles.

“We have five months to put the best team the city could ever dream of,” Pratt said.

Pratt’s bullish comments came as Bass advanced to the November runoff while Pratt held second place ahead of socialist City Councilmember Nithya Raman in third.

While a large number of ballots remain to be counted, political observers increasingly view a Bass-Pratt matchup as the most likely outcome.

Pratt told reporters he entered election night prepared for any result.

“We do have that team. We’ll see who is ready to come forward because retaliation is a real thing with Bass.”

Pratt also said a potential runoff campaign would give him an opportunity to demonstrate the amount of support behind his candidacy.

“I think the next five months I’m going to have time to build out this team to show the level of Democratic supporters I have behind me,” he said.

Don’t get too excited. The people of LA have shown you where this is going. Do you think the noodle lady’s votes will go to Pratt? No way. Bass looks to be in control of this race because the people of LA are just that stupid.

Have they called it yet? If not, if I were Pratt I wouldn’t worry about the next five months. I would worry about the next ten day. The democrats will find enough votes to ensure he isn’t in the runoff.

“The democrats will find enough votes to ensure he isn’t in the runoff.”

From what I’ve just read in other sources, there are have been a large group of votes “counted” that were 100% Bass. Hmmmm, wonder how that happened?

As the hours tick by, Pratt is slowing narrowing the difference (now behind Bass by only 4+ points - it was 7 last night), which is a very good sign!!! It’ll make it harder for those crooks to cheat.

If Pratt wants to win the run-off, he needs a good team of lawyers, to challenge the results.

I agree with all that.

Hoping for the best however, liberals would rather LA burn to the ground than vote for a Republican......no matter what they could do for them.

And I saw almost that exact statement on a YouTube video about this earlier this morning.

Pratt will be assisted by a Bass indictment by the DOJ

Chances are Pratt will slip to 3rd place as counting of the mailed, early, and phantom votes commences. Raman will receive the preponderance of the remaining votes, Bass will receive the remainder. There is no way the machine permits Pratt to continue.

“””” There is no way the machine permits Pratt to continue.””””

I agree with you and other FReepers that Pratt may not come in second place.

Spencer Pratt has exposed how corrupt and incompetent the DEMOCRATS are in Los Angeles.

In the same fashion, Nick Shirley has exposed how corrupt and incompetent the DEMOCRATS are in Minnesota.

Pratt and Shirley have done more than any PAID GOP political consultant to promote MAGA.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2026-primary-elections/los-angeles-mayor-results

According to NBC there were only like 800,000 people voting in the LA Mayor race. So it will not require much fraud to swing the election.

“Why don’t you sign up with the commie to run her campaign?”

It wasn’t an endorsement of Bass. It was an indictment of the corruption of California and the democrat machine that runs it. How you got that I was a Bass supporter out of that astounds.

Commie might be pertinent but Black is the controlling adjective

Pratt has no chance to win. Bass is a lock for re-election.

The Dem vote was split all over the place. Pratt got 30% in the primary and will get 30% in the general, possibly 33%.

Bass has 35% in the primary but will have 65% in the general, when all of the diluted Democrat primary vote all falls for her.

Pratt is a nice dream but in one-party monopoly state, the GOP has no chance. Neither Pratt nor Hilton have a ghost of a chance of winning in the general election this November.

Zero.

Don’t get too excited. The people of LA have shown you where this is going.

The wet blanket stuff doesn't help. Those who say it is just going to be stolen are not helpful either.

Pratt is running a local campaign on local issues. I have seen Republican tsunamis in place like New Jersey out of dishust with local politics (Jim Florio and his toilet paper tax. The Republicans squandered the opportunity, of course.)

The fact that Pratt came from NOWHERE to where he is now shows he has a puncher's chance. And he is a puncher. Will he lose? Maybe. Will he perhaps show a strategy and a way out for a future candidate? Yes, but only if he isn't crushed through indifference.

Angelinos need his energy, his humor, his common sense. If Argentina can wake up, maybe L.A. can, a little bit, too.

Hope he’s in politics for the long haul, even if he loses — just like the left. Los Angeles can’t be fixed by one election.
