The Iranian regime has agreed not to have nuclear weapons, President Donald Trump told the New York Post’s “Pod Force One” podcast — but he added that Tehran could still “change their mind.”
“I did have to say we have to do something about Iran, because regardless of how well we’re doing [economically] we can’t let them have a nuclear weapon,” he said in the interview, which was published Wednesday. “They’ve already agreed they’re not going to have a nuclear weapon.”
When asked to confirm that the Iranian regime had agreed to that term, Trump said: “Oh yeah, they’ve agreed to that.”
“I mean, now they can change their mind, but that was one of the things they’ve had to agree, they’ve agreed to that. That was the big thing,” he said.

This has become a frustrating, drawn-out saga in which no version of the “facts” is believable.
At this point, I’m not really sure who “they” refers to.
If we had killed Hirohito, Tojo, Umezu and Toyoda in August of 1945 - the war would still be going on.
We’ve seen what they were able to do with IED’s. What would they be able to do with a “dirty bomb”? Surely they would not hesitate to use such a weapon if that’s all they could get their hands on.
An agreement or deal with these people isn’t worth the piece of paper it’s written on. Waste of time.

Trumps negotiating style is better for business... When it comes to diplomacy... Not so much so.
He has experienced diplomatic negotiators with brains and they aren’t going to give Iran anything. Pretty sure that the admin is doing it’s best to make sure that there is a regime change and that change is obviously pretty slow in the uptake, but it will happen eventually.
The Persian’s, they’ve been around for a pretty long time in one form or another, but in the end... They’ve always been there and always will be there.
The only countries that would bother Iran is literally the US and Israel.
