This is another example of why “omnibus” bills should be outlawed & every piece of legislation voted on piece by piece. While there may be very good reasons for this relationship with Israel, it smacks of something underhanded to sneak it in this way.
Wondering if this is why they funded the opposition so much to get rid of Massie? I think, he is a jerk, but I disagree with this integration of our military R&D tech & money for Israel!

Israel is the one, true, reliable ally of the US. It is absolutely in the best interest of this country to maintain and further build this alliance.

Whenever I read something about America and relations with Israel, I am reminded of something my good friend who has dealt with Jews most of his working life told me. He said one of his long time Jewish contacts once told him, “It’s our job to screw you, and it’s your job to make sure we don’t.” He said that provided a lot of clarity.
I agree. This simple-minded Jew hatred is an intellectual narcotic for the bewildered masses. It gives them an easy solution for all of the world’s problems. No need for the study of history or economics or political science. Too much work. You have a troublesome issue? Blame it on the Jews.
Sadly, this mentality has been creeping into our FR more and more.

Absolutely correct. “Omnibus” bills are a euphemism for “Bloated Porkulus” bills.
The US has 800 military bases in 80 countries. According to your logic, this bill would make Israel the 131st state.

But Trump has pointed out the future with his abrahamic accords. He wants all the middle east in the abrahamic accords.
Whenever the whole middle east becomes part of the abrahamic accords—the logic shifts. It becomes jews and muslims against christians.
The Muslims will be the winners in this scenario because it is christians who are backstopping jews not the other way around.

While an omnibus bill typically combines multiple unrelated appropriations measures to fund the entire government, the NDAA specifically targets the Department of Defense, nuclear programs, and related national security activities.
No Foreign entanglements. Israel is its own nation. And these links will prove that they are not and not ever have been loyal allies.

The greater majority of our Congressional Representatives accept money from AIPAC. That is both Democrat & Republican.
Israel is our closest ally.
For all the Israel haters, pay close attention. The aircraft Israel buys from us are modified many times over to make them far better. Example, when the F16 came out, it was a 2 stion interceptoir the IAF asked for stronger wing parts, making it into a fighter-bomber, something our crooked dod never thought about. Israel bought mostly 2-seat F16s, and hence the fighter-bomber version of the F-16 became a reality. The IAF did not waste rewinging the KC135; they modified 2 of them into flying command aircraft, thus making THE 135 INTO A kc AND A er AIRCAFT. i BET HUGE MONEY THE f35S THEY BOUGHT GOT MODIFIED TO A FAR BETTER FIGHTER BOMBER.There Flying Kills has made the IAF the best in the world...
