Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts is facing a new impeachment resolution put forward by a House Democrat.
The long-shot effort was introduced on Thursday by Representative Steve Cohen. The Tennessee Democrat announced last week that he would forgo his reelection bid after it became clear he was unlikely to win, as the state moved swiftly to gerrymander following a seismic Supreme Court opinion in late April that gutted Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.

LOL. This says more about Newsweak that it writes an article to make it sound like this impeachment push actually has legs than the actual impeachment push. Newsweak is carrying the Dems’ water to set the stage for whatever the Dems have cooked up if and when they retake Congress and try to pack the court.

This impeachment push is likely an effort to raise some money which he can when no one is looking stick it in his pockets. His last chance to bamboozle voters and make cash on it.
