WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. military said Monday that it carried out “self-defense” strikes in southern Iran, including on missile launch sites and boats placing mines.
U.S. Central Command says the strikes were done “to protect our troops from threats posed by Iranian forces” but that it was “using restraint during the ongoing ceasefire.”
President Donald Trump said Monday that any agreement to end the Iran war should include a requirement for several additional countries, including Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, to join the Abraham Accords, the U.S.-brokered agreements from Trump’s first term aimed at normalizing relations with Israel.
Trump said in a social media post that negotiations are “proceeding nicely,” but tied any eventual agreement to expanded participation in the 2020 accords.

MORE details on US strikes vs Iranian targets today:
2 Iranian boats were caught laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, senior US official tells me. The US military eliminated both IRGC vessels and also struck at a SAM (surface to air missile) site in Bandar Abbas that was targeting US warplanes.
“These were defensive strikes.” They do not indicate ceasefire is over, according to two well placed sources.
Take off the gloves....NOW!
Flatten the “secure, undisclosed location” where the Supreme Leader is cowering.

For 47 years, the rulers of Iran have been crying “Death to America!” And they meant it. Just look at their attack at the US Marine barracks in Beirut. Or their attack on USS Cole. Or read my profile for more.
So ... any attack on the rulers of Iran and their IRGC savages is the very definition of self defense.
Please understand: these people only understand force, death, and destruction. Anything else - negotiations, mutually beneficial exchange, peaceful co-existence - is, to them, merely an opportunity to spread their Shiite belief system. Like a reptilian brain of an allegator that is hard-wired to eat anything that moves, they reflexively jump at any opportunity to spread their evil.
Laying mines??!! WTF. The negotiations should end immediately. This violates the ceasefire and is an escalation of the conflict. Time to take the gloves off.
With the Internet down in Iran, we don’t hear anything about something critical. Last I heard inflation was 45% since the war started. Business are closing. They still have their water and extreme air pollution issues. How much more is the population going to take?

Tens of millions of Americans don’t know how lucky they are to be American.
Literally.
They just don’t know how lucky they are. They don’t understand. To them, tyranny is when you have to prove you are a US citizen to vote.
America has given me a wonderful life, and I think about giving something back. I am contemplating running for office to serve, not for personal gain, and campaigning by decency and civility. We need a resurgence of the classic Republican platform: small government, low taxes, less regulation, individual responsibility, eliminating career bureaucrats who are not accountable to anyone, eliminating government programs that reward laziness, promoting policies that encourage family stability, promoting programs that encourage saving, delayed gratification, living within one’s means, hard work, education, and entrepreneurship.
Then again ... I think I am naive and the professional politicians will eat me alive.

We need people with your beliefs to run for office. You don’t have to start at the top to make a difference. Start somewhere and see where it goes from there.
