Iran Agreed to Surrender Enriched Uranium, End Nuclear Ambitions in Tentative Deal with Trump: Reports
Breitbart ^ | May 24, 2026 | Kurt Zindulka

Multiple reports have indicated that U.S. negotiators believe that Iran has committed to giving up its nuclear ambitions and its highly enriched uranium as a part of a broader peace deal with President Donald Trump.

On Saturday afternoon, President Trump announced that an “agreement has been largely negotiated” between Washington and Tehran. However, Mr Trump said that the final details of the deal were still being discussed and would not be made public at the time.

According to a report from the New York Times, citing “two U.S. officials”, the Islamist regime in Iran verbally agreed to U.S. negotiators that it would give up its stockpile of highly enriched uranium.

Although exactly how the nuclear material would be removed from the country remains unclear, such an agreement would fulfil a longstanding and major aim of the White House.

While the Islamist regime has yeet to confirm any details and has a spotty track record of following through on its commitments, an agreement would also likely shore up support from Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill, some of whom have expressed scepticism about coming to any agreement with the Mullahs.

The report noted that while Iran previously rejected the notion of surrendering its uranium, the apparent agreement came as America intimated that it was willing to resume its military campaign against the country if a deal was not reached.

Indeed, President Trump said on Saturday that he was ready to “blow [Iran] to kingdom come” if talks broke down.

For now, but probably not forever.

Hopefully the Iranian army and the Immortal Guards, the people of Iran, can put an end to the IRGC.

Supposedly, the enriched Uranium is still in it’s gaseous state, so how would inspectors know what is in the bottles?.............

Methinks these American negotiators are deluding themselves. Unless there is a regime change and the enriched uranium is undeniably in the possession of the US, this is a win for Iran.

That’s nice.

Now destroy their industrial infrastructure — just to make sure.

**************

They'll "agree" to anything to drag the talks out some more and introduce new conditions to discuss. Delay, dissemble and distract.

What I learn from FR:

1. We should never have entered the war with Iran
2. We lost the war with Iran
3. We should stop our attempt to get them to give up nuclear capability because of the price of gas and the midterms
4. We should never have boots on the ground.
5. If we don’t kill very last person in Iran then it was a waste of time.
6. Every Iranian is smarter at negotiating than Trump.
7. Every TDS Freeper is smarter than Trump.
8. Every TDS Freeper knows that Trumps advisors are dumb but Trump doesn’t know that.
9. If we have a cease fire to try and get an agreement means we have surrendered.
10. If we enter into any agreement it means we lost and surrendered.

Supposedly, the enriched Uranium is still in it’s gaseous state, so how would inspectors know what is in the bottles?..

You can use passive gamma ray technology to determing the material and level of enrichment inside the steel containers without opening them.

It is 2026. We have all kinds of neato testing methods today.

I don’t put any stock in this “breaking news” but Iran lies their pants off in public. We have routinely seen them make public denials for news that came true shortly after.

That said, I don’t believe anything until we have the nuclear material on a US military base somewhere.

I want to belive this story but I don’t even know who would make that negotiation in Iran. Iran has no leadership and one leader may commit to handing over the nuclear material while another leader blocks him from doing so.

This is a mess.

Let me know what the USA has the 1,000 lbs of radioactive gas in our physical possession. Awesome news if true but prove it. I am not holding my breath in the meantime. Iran lies all over the place and odds are they are lying now.
