The White House placed a top administration official on leave after an undercover sting operation revealed his deep disdain for President Donald Trump.
Benjamin Ellisten, a senior budget analyst and funding manager for the White House, told James O’Keefe’s undercover journalist that Trump is a “madman” who is “f*cking it up for everybody.” Ellisten, who has worked at the White House since 2024, has since been placed on administrative leave, a White House official told the Daily Caller.
“He has no direct access to the President or Senior Staff, and does not work on the White House campus,” the official told the Caller. “Such views expressed by the individual are not reflective of patriots who admirably serve in the Administration.”
Ellisten was caught telling O’Keefe’s reporter that Trump is a “mess,” saying they “gotta get rid of him.”
“He’s a madman,” Ellisten told the undercover journalist. “Literally. He’s invincible. Nothing can stop him, and that’s dangerous.”

I am really losing confidence in Susie Wiles. If this happened once, it would be understandable. But things like this keep happening. Plus, she really needs to get Trump’s social media posting under control. Then there are the repeated missteps with giving interviews to mainstream media publications under the naive hope that they will give the administration a fair shake.
He’s obviously dirty if he’s pissed that Trump is messing up his gravy train. Maybe, just a thought, some sh1thead “good cops” should investigate the scumbag.
Another deep state a hole. No matter whom you elect, they don’t change their direction.
She sucks. She’s loyal to someone and it ain’t Trump.
They are like termites.
Well Benny, tell us what Trump is “****ing up for everybody”. You boys got some kind of money gig going on up their in the District of Corruption? Believe it or not, MOST AMERICANS voted for President Trump so he would start “****ing up” the big money gigs going on up that that crap hole.
They realy do. I watch the video and the guy was such an insufferable prick. The first thing he did was show the girl his ID to impress her...and his chuckle would make paint peel.
The Deep State runs deep regardless of who is at the top
a worthless bureaucrat. Next up, the gardener’s view
This yahoo is STILL GETTING PAID?!?!?!?
Terminate! They have all the evidence they need and the whole world has seen it.
Well, you certainly life down to your screen name.
What, exactly, do you blow...hard?
What the hell does Wiles have to do with the rantings of a whitehouse opinionated blowhard?
And get Trump's social media posting under control? Only God could do that.
Wiles is the Chief of Staff, and is doing a very good job, but control Trump's posting at 3:00 AM, and how would she do that?
...most likely she’s getting to comfortable in her job.
In my younger years there was a boss I had & it was a big group I worked in and at least once or twice a week she would announce from her desk or walk up & down the aisles saying
“ tighten up people, tighten up”...
( it was a govt job @the FBI down in the Navy Yard in DC- fingerprint examination & classification ages ago before the “ new” , now aged FBI bldg was constructed...
How is he a “top Administration official.” DC is filled with self-important people who are loyal to a paycheck, not any principles.
There is such a thing as a "Deep State", and people like this "senior budget analyst and funding manager" are denizens of it.
In his first term, Trump made the mistake of taking advice of people who he should appoint to what positions. He was new to politics, and new to the Presidency at the same time.
That created major problems for him as we saw. People were suggested to him, he took the advice and trusted them instead of trusting himself, and the mischief that engendered was considerable.
The damage was done.
In his second term, it is evident that he has learned that lesson well and taken it to heart.
However, Grok states: "...Around 4,000 political appointments (with roughly 1,200 requiring Senate confirmation)..."
This guy, a "a senior budget analyst and funding manager" is one of this 4,000 people. Obviously, he wasn't a Secretary of War or a Secretary of Defense. He was a White House staffer who was providing information on various budgetary things.
This was someone that a senior person in the White House staff or an agency would contact and say:
"The President contacted the Secretary of X and requested some information on performance in his or her agency. We need to look at how the Department of X is doing, and the impact the. budgetary allotments have on what it affects. I need some information on how much money is being spent on X, broken down yearly, for the past 10 years. And I want to see the metrics on X that define performance, to see if that money being spent has any effect good or bad, and send that information to me. I will provide that information to the President and the Secretary of X so we can make some informed decisions."
There are all kinds of people at all kinds of levels taken from all kinds of pools of talent. It is impossible to avoid getting people, especially those with prior service in some branch or other, who have their own ideas on how things should be run, how statistical data should be provided, the time frames it should be provided in, how much analysis and rework of the data should be required, and in the end, how it will be used in policy decisions.
This will happen.
But it is good to see this current iteration of the Trump Presidency does set up their own sting operations (as someone like Dan Bongino has stated on his podcast) to smoke out people who are hostile to the Trump/MAGA agenda.
And that when they don't catch someone, even when they are unaware of a leak or sabotage at some level and it is picked up by a non-government operative such as James O'Keefe and is brought to their attention, they take action.
I don't blame Susan Wiles for this kind of thing. It is unavoidable in those 4,000+ positions that need filling in an average administration.
“He has no direct access to the President or Senior Staff, and does not work on the White House campus,” the official told the Caller. “Such views expressed by the individual are not reflective of patriots who admirably serve in the Administration.”
But you can bet your sweet-bippy that he IS a member of the Senior Executive Service (SES).
The “keystone” of the bureaucracy.
They need to be terminated ASAP....and before they can quit.
If they quit, unbelievably enough they can apply for a federal position again.
Well THAT innocuous statement made the local FR girl-boss-brigade quite upset.
Maybe make me a sammich?
Word.
