Officers were dispatched around 4:17 p.m. after the affidavit says a concerned caller reported a suspicious man who may have been concealing a firearm.
When police arrived at Bollywood Tacos, they found the man—later identified as 20-year-old Roman McDonald—sitting in a booth inside the restaurant.
According to the arrest report, officers attempted to detain McDonald and discovered a Colt SP1 AR-15 rifle hidden in his pants.
The weapon was loaded, with a full magazine and a round in the chamber.
The arrest report says police secured the firearm and continued trying to restrain McDonald as he resisted.
During the struggle, officers and McDonald moved across the restaurant and through an open window onto the sidewalk outside.
Additional officers arrived to assist, and McDonald was eventually taken into custody.
Authorities say he repeatedly reached into his pocket and attempted to discard or conceal an item, later identified as a small bag containing several blue pills.
Police reported that McDonald continued to resist arrest, refusing to comply as officers tried to place him into a patrol car.
While in custody, officers noted he appeared disoriented, with glassy eyes and difficulty focusing.
At one point, the arrest report says McDonald licked the bars inside the patrol vehicle, claiming he had a hair in his mouth.
Restaurant staff told officers they wanted McDonald barred from returning.
Emergency medical personnel evaluated McDonald at the scene and noted a minor head injury, but determined he did not require hospitalization.
McDonald was booked into the Hamilton County Jail and faces multiple charges, including public intoxication, possession of narcotics, disorderly conduct, unlawful possession of a firearm, resisting detention, and tampering with evidence.
Police said the firearm, ammunition, and suspected narcotics will be held as evidence.

That thought occurred to me but decided not to post..

When did it start taking more than 1 or 2 officers to put a guy in cuffs. No fist to jaw, no baton, no tasers, no pressure points, no joint locks?... Oh yeah DEI and pansy de-escaltion crap.
Yeh, when I was younger many females accused me of having an AR in my pants!
With a mug and hair like that, he needs LOTS of those pills.
That's why the baggie of little blue pills!
Brings Marylin Monroe to mind.
If I had a bag of blue pills, it might LOOK like I had an AR in my pants …
Your gun won’t go off if you just think about baseball.
Drugs.....are bad
REMEMBER RODNEY KING??
HE WAS SO HIGH ON PCP THAT 4 RATHER LARGE COPS COULD NOT HOLD HIM DOWN ON THE GROUND.
ONE ON EACH ARM/LEG & HE FLIPPED THEM OFF LIKE RAG DOLLS.
Of course the media never showed that part.
Colt SP1 (First model sporter). How that’s old-school. Circa early 80’s. Probably a collectors item if in good shape.
Which makes me think this guy didn'y buy that one.
