President Trump announced Friday he would soon raise tariffs to 25% on vehicles imported from the European Union, claiming the bloc was non-compliant with its US trade deal.
“I am pleased to announce that, based on the fact the European Union is not complying with our fully agreed to Trade Deal, next week I will be increasing Tariffs charged to the European Union for Cars and Trucks coming into the United States,” he said in a post to Truth Social.
Companies that build vehicles in the United States will be exempt from the tariff, he added.
“Many Automobile and Truck Plants are currently under construction, with over 100 Billion Dollars being invested, A RECORD in the History of Car and Truck Manufacturing,” Trump claimed.
“These Plants, staffed with American Workers, will be opening soon — There has never been anything like what is happening in America today!”

Dang. Should have bought that Lambo last week. Oh well…
Suck it you grifting Eurotrash communists.
Most US Sold Hondas and Toyotas are made in non union shops in america.
I believe at this point more Toyotas are made in the US for sale here then Mopar vehicles are.
Good to know. Thanks for pointing this out.
Volkswagen group builds vehicles in the US, so it seems Lamborghini would be exempt from the tariffs.
Market is taking it on stride.
The EU and the Governments of Europe are our enemy.
I don’t know if I’d want to invest in any Mopar these days. 20 years ago it was Daimler-Chrysler, then Fiat, not it’s Stellantis, and making a two door Charger that’s electric is a crime against humanity. Let’s also not forget the rebranding of Dodge trucks to Ram.
DOW @ 400 points from all time high so far today.
Oil down @ 2-3% today.
Carry on Mr.President.🇺🇸💯👍
Oh well, I can still afford a Ferrari if I get registered for 100 SNAP benefits. I identify as a Somalian running Quality Etaing Center.

I’m pretty sure they have a big N. Alabama plant under construction, near Huntsville IIRC.
