Line’em Up! KC-135 Stratotankers assigned to the 92nd Air Refueling Wing and 141st Air Refueling Wing taxi into position before takeoff as part of Operation Centennial Contact at Fairchild Air force Base, Washington. The movement, which included stops at Yellowstone National Park, Mount Rushmore and Glacier National Park, was part of Air Mobility Command’s celebration of 100 years air refueling operations and demonstrated the 92nd Air Refueling Wing’s global reach capabilities. Since its inception in 1923, Air refueling has become a crucial component of military and civilian aviation operations around the world by extending the range and endurance of aircraft and enabling them to complete missions that would otherwise be impossible or require multiple stops. As a result, this capability is essential for strategic and tactical operations, as well as humanitarian relief efforts in support of AMC, U.S. Transportation Command and Department of Defense priorities. Waiting For The Fish To Get A Clue!A child waits for a fish on the bank of a fishing pond during a Keiki Fishing Tournament at Ali’i Agricultural Farms, Wahiawa, Hawaii. They do seem happier, but I haven’t seen much of them. They sleep nearly all day, but Midnight or Shadow has spent time on top of Grey’s cottage. He won’t do that when it’s too warm.
How were things there? Cooler also? Did you do some mowing?

They were able to sleep a lot more comfortably today with it being cooler. Tonight will be great for wandering their territories.
Temp was about the same today but the breeze was more out of the north. Nice day. Looks like I might get a sprinkle or two later tonight.
No mowing. The grass is still too damp after all the rain we got.

1st pic: do they trim Recruit Onofre’s eyebrows, too?
Last pic: that is sure one steep bank he’s squatting on - a big catch could pull him right in.

Have you gotten that sprinkle yet? It sure wouldn’t hurt, but that lawn is gonna be out of control if the grass is wet every day.
It’s 62 outside right now. Felt a bit chilly when I went out, but I had gotten used to the darn heat. I know I’ll sleep better though. If Ginger won’t try to talk to me all night. LOL!

No, no showers yet and it looks like I won’t get anything. They were scattered earlier and have pretty much fizzled out now. AL and GA are getting the good rain tonight.
The yards are already crazy after the rain Mon. night through the wee hours this morning. Still have rain chances the next few days. Champ’s gonna be chuggin’ when I get to mow again.
It’s down to 59 here and heading into the upper 40s. It was 60 when I stepped out a little earlier and the breeze made it right chilly. Not end-of-April weather.
Your kitties are probably feelin’ frisky tonight with it being nice and cool.

Our nightly temps will be in the upper 40s after tonight. Tonight will get down to the mid-50s or so. I don’t have to be outside, so I don’t mind. Not sure if we’ll need the heater on. Using the self-heating blankets really keeps it toasty underneath them, and Ginger likes to cuddle next to me when it’s chilly making it even cozier.
The kitties did seem to be less uptight when I went to feed them. Except for Midnight. He was fussing at a lovely buff colored stray that wanted a bite of food. He/she’s been around before. I call it “Sandy”. I can’t say no to a ginger. 😻 I hope he’s not going to stick around though.
Poor Champ. If you continue to get so much rain just when it dries out enough to maybe mow, you’re gonna have to trade him for a bigger version. LOL!
