A man killed a woman and then himself in a murder-suicide at the $1 million Virginia home of top former Democrat lawmaker Justin Fairfax.
Officers were called to a home on Guinevere Drive in Annandale early Thursday morning, Fairfax County Police said.
Property records reviewed by the Daily Mail confirmed the residence is owned by the former Virginia lieutenant governor, 47, and his wife Cerina, 49.
Authorities have not disclosed the identities of the deceased, with a press conference expected to take place imminently.
Police descended on the residence just after midnight after a 911 caller told dispatchers that he thought his father stabbed his mother.
When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a woman unconscious and bleeding inside the home. Police determined the victim had been shot.

During 1998 in Annandale VA, we bought a 3 bedroom 1200 square foot rambler on 1/3 acre, built in 1958 for $200,000. 5 years later in 2003 we sold it for $400,000. That was 23 years ago. I think the average cost of a house in Annandale now is $1 million... Annandale VA is inside the DC Beltway, but just outside of the DC Diamond.

Yep, and it is just outside the beltway in Annandale. Mine is assessed at $1.2M and is 10 miles outside the beltway. Bought it 30 years ago for $275k. Stupid HOAs harass you to “maintain home values” so neighbors can sell and make lots of money and the ones who stay pay 5-figure property taxes because of those sales.
