Former GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley on Sunday indicated that she won’t seek the party’s nomination in 2028.

“I will not,” she responded to CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union” when asked if she would consider another White House bid.

Haley, a former South Carolina governor and U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, ran for president in 2024 before dropping out and endorsing President Trump. She won just one primary, losing to Trump in her home state.

Possible GOP contenders have begun to jockey to succeed Trump in 2028 in recent months. Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have emerged as potential front-runners.

Trump has declined to endorse a potential successor but has indicated there’s a “good bench” of possible Republican candidates.

well, this is good news, can't stand Bird Brain - I think it will be JD or DeSantis but look at the jackass slate - it's far worse.

“Former GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley on Sunday indicated that she won’t seek the party’s nomination in 2028.” That’s OK Nikki, let Kamala run, she’s looking for her french fries.

Hmmm...
IMHO, running our own version of “KneePads” Harris would be a waste of time...

I would rather see Rubio only because he looks MUCH stronger for the general than Vance or Ron and we must win.

Haley got the Iran war she wanted, so no need to run.

GOP candidates? JD POTUS and Marco VEEP.

Winning combination. Battle-tested, no Dem would want to debate.

Dem candidate? Most likely Rahm Emanuel or Moochelle (although this GOPer would comedian whackos Newsom or Harris, assuming she's not in a halfway house).

Time for the GOP to crush MAGA like the Tea Party. The old hacks are coming out.

Currently Stephen A Smith, ESPN commentator, is the leading contender. Mark Cuban is in 2d place. The professional politicians, and the media is a special relationship with the professional politicians, does not want to give Stephen A Smith the recognition he has.

Most likely, the non-professional politician will be the strongest either party can field for President. Trump’s big asset is that he is not a professional politician and does not try to act like one.

Another one who is not eligible to run for U.S. President since she was born to foreign parents. Nimarata Randhawa's parents became citizens after she was born.

I’m sure her base of supporters is devastated by the news - all three of them.
