The most recent Harvard-Harris poll had some intriguing elements, and you have to think the Democrats aren't going to like them.
We've seen constant doom posting from them and from the liberal media about Operation Epic Fury. If you believed what they're spewing out, you would think that we were losing badly and President Donald Trump had given up, when the reality is that we've been having unparalleled military success. Yes, there's more than just military success involved, but they're largely ignoring that. Indeed, if Iran is influenced by what they say, they may be quite deluded and make bad decisions.
But according to Harvard-Harris, the American people have not been taken in by the narrative.
In the war with Iran, is Iran or the U.S. winning right now?
🇺🇸 United States: 76%
🇮🇷 Iran: 24%
——
Democrats: US 66-34
Republicans: US 91-9
Independents: US 70-30

76 percent believe that the U.S. is winning, 24 percent think Iran is. Even among Democrats, a big majority think we're winning: 66 percent.
Then came the money question: Do you support or oppose undertaking the military airstrikes on Iran?
Do you support or oppose the [U.S. government/Trump administration] undertaking military airstrikes on Iran?
🟢 Support: 51%
🟤 Oppose: 49%

51 percent support the strikes, 49 percent are opposed. So it's tight, but they support it. If you look at the age breakdown, it's the older folks over 35 generally who support it, although there's a weird blip in the 45-54 age group. But it's the folks who know the history because they lived through some of it. The older folks know all the years of terrorism since 1979. Now, it says "airstrikes" — so opinions might change if ground attacks are involved. But it is also likely to change more to the positive if the Trump administration settles the Strait question, which would then cool the markets.
So, given those markets and the Iran conflict, you might think that the generic ballot for the Republicans might be tanking big time. But that was another surprising number. In a midterm year, it generally tends to favor the party out of power. But even with the various issues, the Democrats were just barely ahead; the numbers were still remarkably close.

Republicans have to be encouraged by that. If Trump brings back success against Iran and that has a positive economic rebound, that could boost the Republicans.
Oh, and in case there was any doubt (and there should not have been) — a significant majority of the American people support the SAVE America Act, and a mammoth majority support voter ID in general.
Do you support or oppose requiring every voter to have valid ID to vote?
🟢 Support: 81%
🟤 Oppose: 19%
——
Dem: 70-30 (+40)
GOP: 92-8 (+84)
Indie: 81-19 (+62)

I’m quite puzzled by the results of this poll.
On every issue the Harvard-Harris pollsters ask voters, the REPUBLICANS are more aligned with voter preferences. You name it — The Iran war, Voter ID, SAVE ACT....
Yet, when it boils down to ACTUAL VOTING, The Republicans are still behind !
The entire result is counter intuitive. How can one be in favor of the things the Republicans are in favor of, and still be voting for Democrats?
Free stuff.
The enemy within knows that if our goals are achieved in Iran in a reasonable time frame with few American casualties, Trump’s approval will skyrocket with independents and the GOP will likely retain congressional majorities. Which is one of the reasons why most Dems are rooting for us to lose the war. It’s always politics over country for them.
It is PROPAGANDA!
Okay for them to keep on lying, it just makes supporters of MAGA more determined. We are not letting this go to the rat party.
Me again Kelly does not know her ass from a hole in the ground! She was washed up years ago! Self serving BEOTCH!
I’m not sure that this is actual winning for average US Citizens.
How about dismissing all dual citizens from government employment; that might be winning.
Maybe then we can talk about the 10% (at least) of US Congressmen who are dual Israeli citizens. That is probably enough to turn the vote on any issue.
That ‘natural born citizen’ clause exists for a reason.
The power of propaganda and manipulation.
The democrats are toast.
They know it.
They are anti-American citizen and pro-alien.
They are blowing it and they know it.
Why else would they say they need a white, Christian male?
They should have tried to win Charlie Kirk over instead of killing him.
The ‘natural born citizen’ clause only applies to presidents and vice-presidents.
It really ought to apply to all Federal elected offices but it doesn’t.
Media LIES, makes up untruths, and will do anything to slam Trump and his administration.
I didn’t see the Republicans behind behind part. Even splitting the undecided 50-50, it’s still a proper preference.
I think they are all on FR. (KIDDING) 😇
The only encouraging poll I’ve seen in a long time.
I have no respect for Dem voters who just finished saying they disagree with the Dems on the ballot as to issues but then say “My parents and grandparents voted Dem all the way every time and I vote Dem all the way all the time too.”
“Natural born citizen” clause should also apply to federal judges.
I’ll support that idea 100%!
Thanks for posting it.
