NEW: San Francisco police trap 85 bicyclists on an offramp who were seen taking over the road, swerving around cars, & riding the wrong direction.
The bike gang tried turning around after they were blocked on the ramp by SFPD & CHP, but quickly realized they were trapped.
All of the bikes were confiscated.
This is amazing.

I wonder how many of the bikes were stolen?
Very common in big cities.
that’s a lot of stolen bikes, Yogi
85
The world’s most famous stolen bike....
Neighbor brat Francis Buxton paid an accomplice to snatch it.
You think? My first suspect was the critical massholes.
In the video, a lot of the “bikes” were motorcycles, mostly small. Almost certainly stolen. Most of the riders wore helmits which concealed their identities.
I suspect few, if any of the “bikes” were properly licensed or registered.
These lawless events where masses of “rider” take over streets and terrorize the public need to be stopped.
This is a good first step.
Great teamwork, strategizing and rounding up.
Lovin’ it!
Without prosecutions, it is meaningless.
That won’t solve the problem, just destroys a bike.
You need a “people composter” to permanently solve the problem. Because some people refuse to learn.
The swerve kids are a public menace - they deliberately aim their bikes at pedestrians and vehicles, and when they guess wrong, they cause car accidents or run their bikes into hapless pedestrians. It’s a moronic pastime for people who are too old for such childishness - we used to pop wheelies on our bicycles when I was a kid, but we didn’t do it while aiming our bikes straight at people on foot or at cars, swerving at the last minute.
They won’t lear, either.
And here I am fantasizing from some movie of years ago where this bunch would have been met by one of those super huge snow plow trucks with that big V plow on the front of it. The road would have been cleared in short order.
Seriously, I’m surprised they did not let the little lefties take the whole darn road over.
Good one.
Good!
True.
The “bicycles” were mostly motorcycles and e-bikes.
If the bikes were truly confiscated, and I assume at least some were owned by the “teens” riding them, then thats at least a step in the right direction. And whats the penalty for driving a bike like an ass? Nothing particularly severe anywhere I would imagine.
I sea what you there.
