Rubio Mic Drop: Epic Fury Is a Favor for the World. 'Step Up and Deal With It.'
PJ Media ^ | 26 Mar 2026 | Sarah Anderson

Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke out on Operation Epic Fury twice on Thursday, first at President Donald Trump's Cabinet meeting and again before boarding a plane to head to Paris for the G7 Foreign Affairs Ministerial, where he'll meet with world leaders to talk about security concerns, specifically the situation in the Middle East and the Russia-Ukraine War.

He's made one thing clear: Iran was not, is not, and will not be a United States-only problem. It's a world problem. And it's time for other countries to step up.

In what many on social media are calling a "mic drop" moment, Rubio started by laying out the most important issue: Iran has been at war with the United States for 47 years, killing and attacking United States citizens.

"And other presidents had an opportunity to do something about it, and they all warned about how Iran was dangerous, but they refused to act," he said. "And this president's not someone that's going to refuse to act. He's not going to leave a danger like this in place. He's going to address it, and that is what he is doing."

He then went on to explain that the people running Iran are "religious fanatics" and there was really no other way to stop them. "They're attacking embassies and hotels," he said.

"Imagine what these people would do if they had a nuclear weapon. That is an unacceptable risk for the world," he said, adding, "By the way, the president's not just doing a favor to the United States and to our people. This is for the world. He defined very clearly on the first night of this operation what the goal was."

I like JD but I’m starting to favor Marco as my preferred Pres. candidate for 2028.

A reporter later asked if he was worried about the reception he might get at the G7 meeting and whether he was afraid the other world leaders might not be "happy" with him. Rubio basically laughed in the face of the press.

"Well, again, I’m not there to make them happy. I get along with all of them on a personal level, and we work with those governments very carefully, but the people I’m interested in making happy are the people of the United States," he said. "That’s who I work for. I don’t work for France or Germany or Japan. These are all good people. We’re going to have great meetings...But I work for the people of the United States."

I gotta say... Marco Rubio has really grown and, dare I say it, sounds very presidential. Compare him to John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Madeline Albright, even Colin Powell.... He's great.

Dealing with a rabid animal in your midst involves risk. Nevertheless someone has to step up to deal with it.

Did you read what Rubio said? A nuclear Iran would be bad?

Do you disagree with him?

Trump has set up JD as the party’s nominee for 2028. He runs the doner organization for 2028 and trump has named him the head of the push to find fraud in the USA. JD will control the money and he will have all the dirt on the democrats he needs to win in 2028.

Rubio would VP.

Then eight years later he is the presidential nominee. So we have back to back two competent well trained presidents who share trump’s vision. 20 years of competent republican presidents will change the direction of this country.

Meanwhile elon musk is out building a space empire—hopefully first for the benefit of America and Americans.

I like both JD and Mario.

Mario is clearly succeeding in a big way as head of our State Dept. He would have a solid track record as a presidential candidate.

Trump just put Vance in charge of a massive anti-Fraud effort. That’s great. Let’s see some arrests. Let’s see some dirt. Let’s trace it up to the top and arrest some Democrat enablers.

If Vance can’t leverage this post and achieve a solid track record, then I think Rubio becomes the shoe-in for 2028.

Epic Disaster was designed to blane Israel for the destruction and closure of the Gulf exports... to cut Chinese oil imports. One part an extension of Trump’s Global Oil War is linked to Ukraine-Russia, one part linking Venezula cut off of Chinese oil purchases.

Trump by claiming Venezulan oil assets hopes to shore up America debt refinancing. Grabbing Iranuan oil would give the US more assets to absolve the US in bankruptcy abd show more assets when taking on liabikities, e.g., selling UST debt.

The destrucion of the world economy by the cynical destruction of the Gulf Arabs Wealth removes, like the EU, anither economic competitor to the US. It slso limits future 1B monhly inflows investment in the US markets from Gulf investors. It shatters their physical infrastructure and without income the Gulf States will be easy puckings for Trumpisn reak estate grabs as thise families are bankrupted or driven from power. The political realignment driven by destruction, bankruptcy, recessions, and war will benefit the US who is losing its own confiuct with Russia, at the same time trying to harm China.

Epic Fury will destroy ME oil and fertilizer exports and bankrupt ruling families/gulf ststes. It will end Chinese oil imports from ME. Israel is the bad cop whi Trump will betray just as he betrays Ukraine as he attempts to cobfront both Russia and China.

Epic Fury is the opening positioning in World War III.

China nir Russia have yet moved to secure oil transit. The United States is interdicting global oil and LNG exports to financually harm Rusdia, and to economically damage China.

Thesebare Cire Interests if 3 major power. The US is at Economic War with the workd.

Epic Fury gas set in motion conditions fir actual foid shortsges globally in late 2026, and stravation.

Epic Fury was a war Trump started. It will result in war crimes or crimes against Humanity due to destruction of farming, energy distrbution and Trumps global pursuit of violence breaking the peace.

Trump is ultimateky respinsible. He betrayed MAGA election promises.

JD is really my preference.

But I stand by my major concern: Vance is in charge of tracking down the fraud. In MN, in CA, in ME, in plenty of other states. Vance needs results. Vance needs to put people in jail. Vance needs to catch Democrats.

If Vance turns this into a nothing-burger, then I don’t think Vance is going anywhere. I hope he understands that.

If they have been attacking us for 47 years, why did Reagan sell them weapons in the 80’s? Why didn’t Trump bomb them in 2017-2020?

What changed between 2020 and today other than their nuclear capabilities being eliminated last year?

I know what changed.

The generation currently in charge of the US is the last one who was brainwashed enough by post-WW2 propaganda to fight and die for the benefit of another country. They need to do as much in the next 10 years as they possibly can before the gravy train dries up.

They restarted their nuclear weapons program.

But I work for the people of the United States.

It's vanishingly rare for a public servant of any sort to openly acknowledge that fact.
