France Repatriated 129 Tons of Gold in 6 Months, & the Gold Price NEARLY DOUBLED

FRANCE COMPLETES REPATRIATION OF 129 METRIC TONS OF GOLD RESERVES BY SELLING GOLD HELD AT THE NY FED, BUYING NEW BARS IN PARIS⚠️

France just “repatriated” their gold reserves held at the NY Fed by selling them & using the proceeds to buy new “modern” gold bars in Paris according to an article from Reuters:

“A 2024 internal audit recommended completing the process for the small share of French gold still held in New York.

The residual stock of 129 metric tons, or about 5% of France’s total gold reserves, was upgraded by selling the gold and buying compliant bars between July 2025 and January 2026 rather than going to the trouble of trying to get it refined. That programme is now complete, the bank said.”

Read that again. France repatriated its gold reserves held at the NY Fed by “selling” those gold reserves, and rebuying compliant bars in Paris on the open market.

This is NOT how repatriation typically works.

It likely confirms what we stated 10 years ago on SilverDoctors.

Global gold reserves held at the NY Fed have been rehypothecated.

How does one get their gold reserves back from the NY Fed if they’ve been rehypothecated 100 fold?

Ask for the cash, then repurchase the physical gold bullion in your own jurisdiction (Paris).

The NY Fed can simply print the amount necessary to satisfy the gold “sale” request, and the underlying gold held in the Fed’s vaults can remain rehypothecated 100 fold supporting the banking system.

The problem for the Fed & the bullion banksters is that France REPURCHASED those 129 tons of gold on the open market. Which effectively removes 10,000 + tons from the derivatives system.

The result of merely 129 metric tons of gold being effectively unhypothecated is what the gold chart looks like between July 2025 and January 2026:

⚡️Gold price at the beginning of July, 2025: $3,335/oz ⚡️Gold price at the end of January, 2026: $5,600/oz.....

Most likely France's Gold the US was holding was not there, re- hypothecated as many in the industry suspect. Industry experts believe up to 40 percent of our Gold reserve has been leased out or rehypothecated since 1971. This makes sense as to why Trump refuses to audit our Gold reserves.

Are they saying that what they had before was not compliant? IOW, worthless?

“… rather than going to the trouble of trying to get it refined.”

Would that be to get rid of the Chicom tungsten?

So, gold which doesn’t exist now is worth almost twice as much as gold which didn’t exist then?

“We’re going to go to Fort Knox, the fabled Fort Knox, to make sure the gold is there,” February 20, 2025

His only defense is he didn’t say when. With all the Gold shipments into the US since his presidency, I suspect he found out our Gold Reserves have been raided years ago since he made his statement.

Silence ( pleading the 5th) until he can get it replenished and all leases and rehypothecations cleared up. July appears to be a deadline, Shelton states numerous times that may be the unveiling of long term Gold backed redeemable bonds ( debt instruments which the world is ditching).

In any case, as he was informed our Gold reserves are not legit, he should have started an open investigation and let the public know instead of covering for the crooks.

Looks like France learned the lesson from Germany's withdrawal of their physical gold bars from the Fed which took (or is still taking) many years. It must have been on the shelf waaaay in the back of the vault.

More likely, the Fed is playing fractional reserve games with what was thought to be a safe deposit box, like if your bank pried open your box and sold off your grandmother's diamond ring in anticipation of buying a similar one if you want the ring back. I would love to see what the exact terms France and Germany agreed to when they deposited their gold.

Why would France sell low-priced gold then buy high-priced gold?

They saw what happened when Germany asked for their gold to be returned. We dragged our feet for a decade, and they still don’t have it all back.

Well, at least the gold is a lot heavier. I always roll my eyes at western movies. Some cowboy grabs his saddlebags utterly filled with gold, that should weight about 800 pounds and flings it across a horses back and rides away....
