On Tuesday, President Donald Trump announced that Iran has agreed to permanently abandon its nuclear weapons program as a central condition for ending U.S. military strikes on Tehran.
“They’ve agreed,” he said. “They will never have a nuclear weapon. They’ve agreed to that.”
Trump added, “We’re actually talking to the right people, and they want to make a deal so badly, you have no idea how badly they want to make a deal.”
There is, however, a catch. Iran is still denying talking to the United States.
Tehran has not stated that publicly — and denied even talking to the US. But Trump has made clear that the no-nukes demand is necessary for the US to stop its military campaign.
The president’s comments came as the US and Iran are preparing for another round of negotiations in an attempt to bring a ceasefire to the war — while also gearing for a major combat operation if talks fall apart.

Even if true, how soon before an Obama/Biden clone drops another pallet of money on them and lets them start enriching uranium for “strictly peaceful purposes”?

Yeah, that must be why the 82nd Airborne is on full divisional alert, and large elements are deploying to the ME even as we write this stuff.
I didn’t see anything about Iran and the mullahs agreeing to refrain from their direct involvement and support of Islamic terrorism worldwide, but I’m sure they’ll pinky promise that too....
The 2nd day story that Iran denied they ever negotiated makes me wonder if their shifty, sneaky Iranian style is now to make a deal and then say the guys you signed on with were not qualified as members of the Iranian official government.
In one of his first books, I think Winning Through Intimidation, Robert Ringer made a big money deal and his opponent then got a ruling that Ringer was not a registered real estate broker in the 2nd state, so his making money for his cut from the deal was void.

There are two groups in Iran... Those who think they’re in charge... And those who will be in charge.
Trump is dealing the group who will be in charge.
Just because they are (honestly or not) all the sudden willing and desirous of negotiating, don't let the pressure off.
Not at that step yet.
