President Trump announced Monday that the US will not attack any part of Iran’s power and energy infrastructure for five days after Washington and Tehran had engaged in “very good and productive talks” over the weekend about ending the three-week-old war.
“I am please [sic] to report that the United States of America, and the country of Iran, have had, over the last two days, very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East,” Trump wrote, without elaborating.
“Based on the tenor and tone of these in-depth, detailed and constructive conversations, witch [sic] will continue throughout the week, I have instructed the Department of War to postone any and all military strikes against Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure for a five-day period, subject to the success of the ongoing meetings and discussions

If true, could be a big mistake. The Iranians are pathalogical liars. You can’t believe any promise they make. We need to deal the death blow to them now.

Interesting, I do hope it includes a new regime where the old players no longer have a voice.
But in truth not required, it would not be good for the Persians though, but we need to put America first, they have a window we created but I find myself wondering if they have the resolve to take back Iran.

? 30000-40000 protesting, weaponless, risking life and limb in streets a month ago,ending up in the morgue speaks volumes to me. i am reminded it took a bit of time during glasnost for countries to pull down the Iron Curtain. i do not doubt the yearning of majority of the Persians for freedom - but Islamists are still embedded. but the wheels are turning.
Plus, it takes a lot of planning. The founding fathers of this country were geniuses and they planned for quite a time. The Iranians, not so much.
