President Donald Trump’s war with Iran is not going well. He began the conflict with a promise to use an air campaign to initiate regime change in as little as “two or three days.” But about three weeks in, Iran’s government, military and security forces remain highly functional. No popular uprising has emerged. And Iran’s government has seized control of the Strait of Hormuz, sending global oil prices surging and Trump into a panic.
Robert Pape, a political scientist at the University of Chicago, is one of the analysts who saw this situation coming a long way off. An expert on air power and regime change who has also taught at the U.S. Air Force’s School of Advanced Airpower Studies, Pape is exceptionally well suited to address the core dynamics underlying how the war on Iran is unfolding. His scholarship and his newsletter, “The Escalation Trap,” all point in one direction: Trump’s goal of toppling Iran’s regime from the air alone is doomed, because fighting a war only with air power is by its very nature ill suited to win hearts and minds...

Yep, and Hillary and Kamala will be co-presidents.
But one of the reasons I voted for him - no more wars (America First).
Just a flesh wound!
MS.NOW’s hatred of our country is predictable, yet still enraging. Yeah, let’s just wait for Iran to nuke us, Israel, or some other country that isn’t full-on islamofascist.
This IS America first.
Imagine a world where the West continues to stand down and let’s Iran fulfill their plans. Boom. Only Fools grow at Ms now.
That didn’t take long.
Iran has effectively no remaining air force.
no remaining air defenses.
no remaining Navy
no remaining Marines
almost no remaining ICBM’s (tho they appear to still have some)
almost no remaining capacity to manufacture significant new weapons (the bombing of these factories and critical input sources is ongoing....)
almost no remaining revenue, foreign exchange...since the war has cut off Iranian oil exports (especially to Communist China, two wins at a time...)
almost no new weapons imports....(especially those from Communist China), as they are being interdicted as we type
almost no value left to Iranian regime’s currency as it is approaching zero purchasing power in the marketplace
almost no remaining economy (no imports, no exports, reduced local manufacturing capacity, local currency almost worthless as a medium of exchange, access to banking systems has been reduced or eliminated, etc.)
shake a stick but..... the above does not sound like the article authors’ Iran is in the same universe as the one we inhabit.
What do you expect posting left wing propaganda from left wing sources on a conservative forum? MSNOW (MSNBC)?

During the 2008 presidential campaign, Pape served as an adviser to Democratic Party Senator and later president, Barack Obama. During the same campaign cycle, he was also briefly an advisor on Iraq to Republican Congressman Ron Paul.[4]

“Donald Trump’s war”
Nope. No bias there.
Well you have to admit at least that a lot of Iran’s stuff got blowed up real good.
This is right out of the IRI official broadcast.
BS coming from the usual suspects. I only watch CNN/MS NOW youtube clips, usually only for a few seconds, but I also peak at the comments. The comments tell me that those that actually watch those channels live in a bubble & believe everything they see on those channels. TDS to the max.
