Missiles caused 'extensive damage' in Qatar hours after Iran threatened to wage a 'full scale economic war' by attacking energy facilities across the Middle East.

Video showed huge explosions in Ras Laffan - the world's biggest natural gas plant - as well as Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh.

Energy sites in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar were evacuated after Tehran warned it would hit them with strikes in 'the coming hours'.

Abu Dhabi authorities suspended operations at two of its sites, the Habshan gas facility and at the Bab oil field, after being hit with fallen debris from successful missile interceptions.

The price of Brent crude soared this afternoon by more than five per cent to over $109.

'These centres have become direct and legitimate targets ‌and will be targeted in the coming hours,' the Islamic Republic warned.

While many are celebrating Khamenei replacing Khamenei and blowing things up in Iran for funsies, those that believe in putting Americans first are getting pissed off about the prospect of the return of Biden era inflation and $5 a gallon gasoline.

Where are these missiles coming from? Surely they can find out and eradicate them.

Is that sarcasm?

The war is nowhere from over. Trump needs a vacation and have Vance run the country for a long period of time.

We could have waited for New York to be nuked.

Which wouldn’t be ALL bad. But pretty bad. Then we could have attacked. Later.

“While many are celebrating Khamenei replacing Khamenei“

Well that’s ridiculous for starters.

Reflection and humility are regarded as unpatriotic at the moment. Nearly everyone here is for war and more war and laying waste to civilizations. Prices are going to skyrocket for sure and it’s not just the gas in your car-it’s anything that gets moved on a road, railway or ocean.

And food prices will spike dramatically and soon. People overlook that most fertilizers—especially nitrogen-based, are basically a solid form of LNG and depend on natural gas as a precursor via the Haber-Bosch process: Natural gas → hydrogen and Hydrogen + nitrogen → ammonia → fertilizers. So the very ability of the world to grow food is highly dependent on the the gulf states to ship fertilizer through the Hormuz. (Which they can’t as long as they’re hosting US military bases).

Not everyone. You see as much as I do like Trump my default position for most announcements coming out of D.C. is “The government lies.” The lies are not necessarily malicious, more often than not they are rooted in protectionism. Sort of “It’s for their own good.” outlook on informing us plebes. This is especially true in matters of warfare.

I kind of enjoy Islamic states no longer taking in money for their fossil fuels. The fun part is it is another Islamic state that did them wrong! Somewhere in Hell Mad Moe is disappointed they are blowing his evil religion up!
