Enten on Tuesday morning reported the polling shows MAGA overwhelmingly backs Operation Epic Fury.
“Look at this! Nearly 9 in 10, 89% approve of the U.S. military action in Iran. That is the MAGA GOP base,” Enten said during a segment on CNN News Central. “Just 9% disapprove of it. This is tremendously popular among the Republican base.”

A shame Sean James of Mediaite doesn’t know how to use words, but then it is biased Mediaite. The war is not popular with the base. That means it is liked, admired or enjoyed which isn’t the case. It is however supported as needed to secure a future US and eliminate the largest supporter of terrorism that has been responsible for thousands of American and other deaths. But apparently, Sean James is too biased and stupid to understand the meaning of words.
Sorry, that applies to Enten of CNN as well which is just the TV version of Mediaite with the same bias
The energy was different in 2003. We were pretty "gung-ho" about the war in Iraq.

This war is no different than any other war. It will remain popular with Trump’s base as long as we continue to make progress at an acceptable cost. If progress becomes less clear, or if the cost goes up, the president will lose support even among MAGA. So far, the war has been successful at a relatively low cost (notwithstanding what the antiwar crowd has tried to portray). But there are challenges and warning signs that need to be addressed. Hegseth getting on TV and talking about how many targets have been hit and how many bombs have been dropped are not demonstrations of progress.
