A humanoid robot was taken into custody by Macau police after it appeared to harass the woman on a public street.

Filmed by an onlooker, the robot was seen raising its arms twice as the woman yelled at it.
“You’re making my heart race,” she told the robot in Cantonese.
“You can do plenty but you want to cause this mess? You’re crazy.”
The woman – wearing a blue shirt and white pants – pointed her finger at the robot as others watched on in disbelief.
Police were later seen escorting the robot away from the scene.
According to local media, the woman was later taken to hospital. ...
It was a male robot, it seems that women just can’t catch a break, even in the future.
The lady was walking along the street, when suddenly this robot appeared right behind her and seemed not to go away.
That Robot was being operated by an inventor, 50 y/o man looking on, while holding a remote device.
He was warned by the police to be more careful when using the Robot in public places. The Robot was then returned to him.
The Robot actually belongs to an education center in Macau that had been using it for promotional activities.

automobiles involved in crimes have been “arrested” for decades
nothing new here
They arrested the robot but not the human who was operating it?
