Trump loyalist Laura Loomer apologised for some of her anti-India social media posts after they sparked outrage, adding she would not regret her stance on the H-1B visa programme.

American political activist and staunch Donald Trump loyalist Laura Loomer on Saturday apologised at the India Today Conclave in New Delhi for some of her anti-India social media posts, which had drawn sharp criticism for their highly racist and derogatory nature.

In multiple posts on X, Loomer had made crude stereotypes and remarks about Indians, questioning their presence in the United States, as well as making disparaging comments about hygiene and intellectual abilities. When Loomer later posted about her arrival in India to attend the Conclave, controversy erupted online, with many pointing to her earlier posts about the country.

Ever notice that India simply cannot innovate or be successful in any enterprise; unless they parasitically attach themselves to a foreign country?

Then when they obtain leadership of that company, they fire Americans and replace or transfer the jobs back to India. While doing this, innovation stope and quality falls to crap. I offer MSFT and Adobe as prime examples, there are hundreds of others.

Fraud, scams, nepotism and internal rot is all they have to offer. Yet every company seems to be believe otherwise

So we have millions of Indian citizens in the USA writing our software and maintaining our databases. So there is that.

There are so many now that it is nearly impossible for an American citizen to get a tech job in his own country.

And India is really being left behind since we are stealing all of their best and brightest. India is being victimized as much as we are.

So it is equally a lose - lose situation for both countries. All at the behest of 2 advertising companies (facebook and google). Both of whose lawyers have basically taken over the uscis.gov agency internally.

Tell me where I have this wrong.

as well as making disparaging comments about hygiene

I promise you that's a well deserved stereotype.

Unless they are Christian I’d recommend not taking in anybody from India. Their culture is low trust . They are not as bad as the societies infected by Islam but its perpetual poverty is not by chance. It is a reflection of something wrong.

Several of the Founding Fathers were not orthodox Christians, with many embracing Deism or private skepticism toward traditional Christian doctrines.
Overview of Religious Beliefs
While most Founding Fathers were culturally Protestant and raised in Christian traditions such as Anglicanism, Presbyterianism, and Congregationalism, their personal beliefs often diverged from orthodox Christianity. Some, like John Jay, George Washington, and Samuel Adams, publicly adhered to Christian practices, attending church and invoking divine assistance in speeches. Others, however, privately rejected core Christian doctrines, particularly the divinity of Christ, and leaned toward Deism—a belief in a creator who does not intervene in human affairs.
Britannica

Notable Non-Christian or Deist Founders
Thomas Jefferson: Identified as a Deist, skeptical of organized religion, and edited the Bible to remove supernatural elements.

Benjamin Franklin: Embraced a rationalist, Deist perspective, acknowledging a Creator but rejecting orthodox Christian dogma.

Ethan Allen: Criticized organized religion and regarded traditional faith as irrational.

Elbridge Gerry: Did not identify with any particular church, emphasizing liberty over religious orthodoxy.

Other figures, such as Charles Carroll and Daniel Carroll, were Roman Catholic, while the majority were Protestant but varied in their adherence to orthodox beliefs.

“...Loomer had made crude stereotypes and remarks about Indians...”

Can you believe the irony here? Who are they to complain? It’s the damn Indians that have a caste system. You don’t see that anywhere else in the world.

That’s why when Asian Indians enter a Western country, those same Indians become the lowest caste. I see them ALL as filthy Untouchables. /spit

So apparently either the India Today Conclave pays very well or Loomer is thinking long-term and there's more money to be made in the future by apologizing now.

Very well deserved! I don't exactly recall (15 years ago?), but I was doing contract work in Las Colinas for Citibank. We shared the floor with H-1Bs, who preferred to use the washroom sinks for cleaning themselves. I opted to go to the floor above, to avoid being grossed out.

I doubt the situation has changed, there's more of them in Valley Ranch and Frisco, that's for sure. Over 60% of the students in Coppell ISD are classified as "South Asian." The HS alone has nearly 5000 students, just do the math.

So, you are okay with the unlimited, no-competition L-1 Visas, but not the very limited, complete competition H-1b?

How low trust? It’s worse than you think.

I actually came across that essay before. Thanks for posting the link anyways.

This image shows better than a thousand words the difference between India and a culture with high trust values.
