Amid reports of former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s death, Iranian state media says reports cannot be confirmed.
Israeli and international media report that the hardline former Iranian president was killed in a Saturday strike on his home, citing “state media.”
Some outlets cite the Iran Labor News Agency. However, the news site says explicitly that the reports “cannot be confirmed.”
One of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s close associates, in contact with ILNA, denied the news of the martyrdom of the president of the ninth and tenth governments without any additional information, saying: ‘The news of his martyrdom is false,” according to the outlet.
Neither Israel nor Iran have put out an official statement.

The administration argued that because Iran was a major geopolitical player and a potential threat, it was educationally vital for students and faculty to engage directly with its leader.
Then Columbia President Lee Bollinger stated that it required "intellectual and emotional courage to confront the mind of evil" and that students needed to understand the world as it actually is, not just as they wish it to be.
Hmm so we killed so many of the active leadership we have started going for the old reserves LOL
State media wouldn’t lie would it?
The evil clearly appeared in I’mADinnerJacket’s black, blank eyes.
Reportedly, he was one of the main Iranian protagonists who initially kidnapped and tortured the 400+ Americans.
Iran’s version of Gavin Newsom.
He’s entered the pining for the fjords stage.
If the remains is wearing a necktie it wasn’t him.
Keep in mind that, at one point, the mainstream media called Ahmadinejad a “moderate.”
That’s actually not a bad point. Kids should be hearing people like him is they realize that the world has evil in it that must be opposed. But we all know that wasn’t the real reason Columbia had him in to speak. It probably had more to do with their basic agreement with him on what to do about Israel.
I will give him credit for saying the podium smelled like sulfir at the UN general assembly after George w Bush spoke.
I think that was Hugo of Venezuela. who first said that.
I could be wrong.
Bye, bye President ImaDinnerJacket
Schadenfruede.
students needed to understand the world as it actually is, not just as they wish it to be.
_____________
Yes, Ahmadinejad is welcome, but US conservatives, that’s different, those cannot be allowed to speak on campus.
They are too radical.
Hahahaha - Ben Shapiro says when this is over, Columbia University won’t have any speakers left to invite
probably because he’s in about a million pieces
Hugo Chavez said that.
"He may have perished because he was smoking in bed."
"So, he was smoking in bed?"
"Well, he was smoking when we pulled him out."
Old ‘I’mADinnerJacket’ is gone? That would be a blessing.
Wasn’t there a picture back when the Iranian “students” stormed the US Embassy during the Carter administration of a youthful Ahmadinejad (looked a lot like him) standing on the steps. He’s no moderate regardless of what the presstitudes tell you.
