President Trump on Saturday offered the remaining Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps the chance for “immunity” after a joint US-Israeli military operation wiped out Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and top Iranian leaders.
Trump said the ayatollah’s supporters should back down now — or else they’d suffer grave consequences later.
“We are hearing that many of their IRGC, Military, and other Security and Police Forces, no longer want to fight, and are looking for Immunity from us,” Trump said in a social media post. “As I said last night, ‘Now they can have Immunity, later they only get Death!'”

Give them death. No mercy. No quarter.

This is the wrong approach, like him vetoing Israel killing Khamenei last year, and later regretting it. We need to be killing thousands of IRGC troops and devastating their entire security infrastructure. Trump is a good man, but he has to be more patient before seeking “peace.” Khamenei means nothing. They knew he was going to be killed, was 86 anyway, and they already had successors empowered. Keep going!
Sounds like an offer they can’t refuse.
Leave it for the Persians to decide.
The Squad, she lay low.
Trump is a fool. Ruined a great day by offering immunity.
The ones given immunity will later try to overthrow the new government.
exactly, every single military base should have been targetted at the same time and all of their soliders dead by now.
Muslims lie and cannot be trusted.
Kill and crush them out law Isham.
Destroy every sign of it.
Offering immunity today will save lives. People will get back at the evildoers in the next few months if they lose power now.
Iran/Persia is an honor culture.
They will choose death before dishonor.
Wow, that’s a little rough, don’t you think? So the U.S. isn’t going to prosecute them? We wouldn’t be anyway. He didn’t say the amnesty would be binding on a new government, or on the civilian population
He can offer immunity from the US but not from the Iranian people. Once we’ve taken out their missile capabilities, what’s left are the guns and the civilians don’t have any. To take out the guns there have to be boots on the ground. If the regime’s people lay down their arms it will be a lot easier than if we try to arm the civilians to do that job, or if we have to put our own boots on the ground to do it.
Trump told the Iranians weeks ago to make lists of those who need to receive justice. The Iranian people have been doing that, and when it comes time for justice they will take care of it on their own, as Trump told them to be prepared to take back their country. But Trump can offer them immunity from US attack so they can live to face the justice of the Iranian people. If they choose, instead, to force the US to take the guns out of their hands, they will face certain and immediate death. That’s what Trump is saying.
You are in error. I have no problem with low level troops having immunity as they are not the head of the snake. When and if Iran is free the people will deal with the head of the snake. It will not be pretty depending on one's point of view.
Unless we are in control of Iran's Judicial system it is impossible to offer immunity. I really think a free Iran knows what to do!
Yeah, it’s glitchy tonight.

You give them way too much credit. They consider a woman being raped a dishonor and will kill her for it. They will lie to advance their religion. People like that only choose death by martyrdoming themselves.
“Iran/Persia is an honor culture.
They will choose death before dishonor.”
I find those terms acceptable.
Play ball.

You’re an Idiot.
That’s saying a lot for this place.
Noob.
